Objectives The objectives of the Kenya Skills Show 2019 are to: 1. Sensitize youth and their parents to the multitude of career possibilities and training opportunities that exist in Kenya; 2. Provide a forum for public and private TVET institutions, NGOs, private companies AND development partners to showcase their technical, vocational, entrepreneurship and life skills education and training opportunities; and 3. Improve the image of TVET among students and the general public.
Target Participants The Hands on the Future National TVET Skills Show, 2019 targets over 10,000 participants including: 1. Out of school youth (graduates and dropouts) 2. Current Secondary School Students (Forms 1-4) 3. Current Primary School Students (Standards 6-8) 4. Parents of current Secondary School students 5. Primary and Secondary School Administrators and Teachers 6. TVET Training Institutions Students 7. TVET Training Institutions Tutors 8. Private Sector Employers who require technical and vocational workers 9. Job recruiting organizations and platforms 10.Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) promoting TVET 11.Development Partners and Donors Supporting TVET
