No. 940-Edn(CS)/4E-25/2010 (Part) dated 25.08.2017 and G.O. No. 170-Edn(CS)/4E-25/2010 (Part) Dated 15.02.2018. 1. Post, Type, Vacancy & Reservation: Sl. Eligibility Criteria: Any citizen of India may apply for Group-C Posts. The applicants are requested to fill up the form available in the college website: www.sitalkuchicollege.ac.in 3. Essential Qualification required: for the Group-C posts. i) Academic Qualifications: Madhyamik or its equivalent passed from any school recognized or affiliated by Board/ Council or equivalent. ii) Knowledge in Computer Application: Diploma / Certificates from Govt. Registered or reputed organization is desirable. 4. Age: Minimum 18 years as on 01.01.2018 maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2018 for General Candidates. Relaxation: As per Government norms upper, Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PWD and 3years for OBC (both A & B Category). 5. Method of Recruitment: Recruitment shall be made on the basis of Selection (direct recruitment) as per G.O. No. 940-Edn (CS)/4E-25/2010 (Part) dated 25.08.2017. i) Written Examination for 150 marks, comprising of Mathematics, English and Mental aptitude.

ii) Computer Application test for 50 marks. iii) Interview for 20 marks. iv) Candidate engaged on contractual or temporary mode in the concerned college for a period more than two years shall get additional five marks for work experience in interview as compared to other candidates provided that the candidate is within the prescribed age limit. 6. Question Paper: The Question will be on the Basis of multiple choice questions (MCQ). The question will be set covering with the subjects Mathematics, English, Mental aptitude. 7. Admit Card: The Admit Card for written examination for the post of Group-C will be sent after fixing the date of examination and it will be informed through SMS/website. 8. Processing fee for Application form: Application fee of Rs. 500/-for General, OBC-A &B and Rs. 200 for SC/ST candidates has only to be deposited by demand draft in favour of Sitalkuchi College payable at Sitalkuchi The necessary testimonials along with the demand draft have to be sent by Post to the following address: Principal, Sitalkuchi College, P.O- Sitalkuchi, Dist- Cooch Behar, PIN- 736158 Last date of receiving testimonials along with the demand draft is 17.12.2018. No testimonials & demand draft will be accepted after 17.12.2018 from the college end. 9. The schedule of Examination & Interview: The date, time venue of the Examination & Interview will be notified later in the college Notice Board & website. NOTE: Appearing in the test/examination is purely provisional subject to verification of the candidate s eligibility at various stages. INCOMPLETE AND INCORRECT FORM WILL BE REJECTED. 10. Method of selection: Selection will be done on the basis of cumulative total of marks obtained in earlier examinations plus written test plus interview. The distribution of marks is as under: Group C Written Exam- 150, Computer application test- 50, Interview 20 = Total -220. Note: In case, grand total marks obtained by two or more candidates become equal, preference will be given to the candidate who has secured better academic qualification. Candidate engaged on contractual/ temporary mode in the concerned college for a period more than two years shall get additional 5 (five) marks. 11. General instructions to the candidates: 1) No application except in prescribed Application Form will be considered. 2) Incomplete application will not been entertained. 3) No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the Examination and interview. 4) The college shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by a candidate at anytime at the time of appointment or during the tenure of his / her service.incase, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidate has a clandestine antecedents / background and has suppressed the said information, then his/her service shall be terminated. 5) In case of any in advertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the college reserves the right to modify /withdraw /cancel any communication made to the candidates. 6) In case of any dispute /ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Selection Committee shall be final. 7) In case of any disputes,any suites or legal proceedings against the college,the Jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Calcutta High Court. 8) For being considered as belonging to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD categories, only certificates issued by the competent authorities will be treated as valid documents. 9) Self-attestation of all annexed testimonials or documents should be done by the candidate himself / herself only, signing his /her full name on the enclosed documents. Do not sign in capital/ block letters. 10) No Telephonic queries will be entertained in this regard. 11) No canvassing in any form will be entertained in this regard. 12) In case of any exigencies, the schedule of Examination and Interview may be changed.
