We thank God for our Catholic Education and pray for our students and staff. Tabernacle at OLA Exciting news about the faith formation of our students! In keeping with our EICS division theme: Where is Jesus? Right here, right now our school division has undertaken an exciting faith filled project. This year, the school division has obtained a tabernacle and monstrance from the Archdiocese which will travel to each school in our district. The presence of a tabernacle in each school echoes the importance of the Eucharist in each of our lives. It provides a wonderful teaching opportunity as well! After a week at St. John XXIII Catholic School, the tabernacle will be with us at Our Lady of the Angels from November 16 20. We are fortunate enough to be able to turn one of our classrooms into a chapel for the better part of the week! Each class will have a chance to learn more about our
Eucharistic faith in the early part of the week and then on Thursday, following mass, our students will have the opportunity to experience Eucharistic Adoration with their classes. On Friday during the school day, our chapel will be open to classes as a prayer space to visit with Jesus real presence in the tabernacle. The tabernacle will then travel to St. John Paul II high school. All parishioners and parents are invited to partake in Adoration on Friday, November 27 th from 3 9pm at St. John Paul II High School when their chapel will be opened to the public if they wish to participate in Eucharistic adoration. Thank you for holding each of our students and staff in prayer that our lives might be transformed by the real presence of Jesus with us Right Here, Right Now. Blessings, Mr. Scott Walker School Chaplain Counsellor s Message Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! In November, I will be starting a girl s group for junior high on Thursdays at lunch.
