(History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography) e) For TGT (Mathematics) Bachelor s Degree in Mathematics with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, and Statistics. f) For TGT (Science)- Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. 2) B.Ed. or equivalent Degree from a recognized University/Institutes. 3) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. 4) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium. Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Tribal languages like Gondi, Baigani, Panika, and Halbi. 2. Experience of working in a residential school. 3. Knowledge of Computer Applications. Important Instructions for TGT (Maths), TGT (Science) & TGT (Social Studies) Candidates applying for the post of TGT (Mathematics), TGT (Science) and TGT (Social Studies) should ensure before applying that they fulfill the following criteria for being eligible for consideration for appointment to these Posts. TGT (Mathematics): 1. The candidate should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry during all three years of graduation. 2. In case of such University which Provide for only two subjects out of the three as mentioned above, in the final years of graduation, the candidate should have studied Maths and Physics in the final Years of examination and all the three subjects, viz, Maths, Physics and Chemistry in the first and second years of Graduation. 3. Candidates who have passed B.Sc. degree with Honours in Maths subject would be considered eligible only if they have studied Physics and Chemistry in first and second year of the course. Candidates with B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics or Chemistry are not eligible for the post of TGT (Maths). 4. Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in these subjects during all the years of study. 5. Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree also. TGT (Science): 1. The candidate should have studied Botany, Zoology and Chemistry during all the three years of study in graduation. 2. In case of such University which provide for only two subjects out of the three as mentioned in the final year of graduation, the candidate should have studied any of the two subjects out of Botany,

Zoology and Chemistry in the final years of examination and all the three subjects, viz. Botany, Zoology and Chemistry in the first and second years of graduation. 3. In case of B.Sc Honours Degree in any of the above mentioned three subjects, the candidate must have studied other two subjects in the first and second year of the course. 4. Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in all of these subjects all the years of study. 5. Candidate should have 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree also. TGT (Social Studies): 1. The candidate should have studied any of the two subjects out of the following subjects at graduation level: A) History with Geography / Economics / Political Science b) Geography with History / Economics / Political Science 2. History / Geography as above, should have been studied for all three years in the Graduation. 3. In case of Honours Degree in History the candidate should have studied Geography / Economics / Political Science in 1 st and 2 nd years. Similarly in case of B.A. Honours degree in Geography, the candidate should have studied History / Economics / Political Science in 1 st and 2 nd years. Candidates with B.A. (Honours) in Economics or Political Science are not eligible for the post of TGT (Social Studies). 4. Candidate should have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in the subjects during all the three years of study. 5. Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the Graduation Degree also. C. Primary Teachers Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200 Upper Age Limit: 30 years (as on the last date for submission of application) Essential: a) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent b) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. c) JBT/CT/DIET/D.Ed./D. El. Ed. two years teachers training or equivalent. d) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media. Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Tribal languages like Gondi, Baigani, Panika, and Halbi. 2. Experience of working in a residential school. 3. Knowledge of Computer Applications. 3. Mode of Selection (a) Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview put together. The IGNTU reserves the right to decide the cut off marks in written examination and interview separately. The decision of the IGNTU about the mode of selection to the above posts and eligibility conditions of the applications for interview shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. (b) Persons with disability of 40% or more, if so desires, will have to bring their own scribe to assist them in the examination. Compensatory time to be allowed in this case is 20 minutes per hour of examination. (c) No candidate will be admitted for the written examination without the proper Admit Card. 4. Quantitative Aptitude 20 20 Administrative and 60 60 Financial procedure / rules of Government of India Total 180 180 (ii) For the posts TGTs and Primary Teachers: The Written test will consist of one paper for TGTs, Primary Teachers separately, as under:- Paper Subject Marks / Duration General Paper Common Paper For Posts of TGTs & Primary Teachers : Objective type multiple choice questions on General English & Hindi (40:20+20), General Awareness (30), General Intelligence, Numerical Ability & Reasoning (30), Teaching Aptitude (20), and concerned subject knowledge (80). The difficulty level of the question papers for TGTs & Primary Teachers will be of Graduation standard. 200 Marks / 2hrs 30 minutes. (e) Schedule of examination will be intimated with the Admit Card. Detailed examination schedule will also be notified on IGNTU website www.igntu.ac.in, in due course. (f) Based on the performance in written examination and also keeping in view the number of vacancies, the candidates will be called for interview. Intimation to this effect will be uploaded on the IGNTU website www.igntu.ac.in, in due course. Candidates are required to check the IGNTU website from time to time. Taking into account the performance of written examination and interview, merit list will be prepared in case of Principals, TGTs & Primary Teachers. However, the mode of selection will be the sole discretion of IGNTU. 5 How to Apply: Interested candidates have to submit the hard copy of the online application before the last date of application by speed/registered post along with; a. Self attested copies of the certificates for age proof, qualifications, experience, caste, etc. b. Declaration Form; c. Endorsement by the Employer (if employed); and d. Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. It should be kept active during the process of recruitment. The IGNTU will send call letters for interview through the registered email ID or the same may be downloaded form the designated portal. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he / she should create his / her new email ID before applying Online.

The name of the candidate, Date of Birth and his / her Parents name etc. should be written correctly during online application as it appears in the class 10 th certificates / marks sheets. Any change / alteration found during verification may disqualify the candidature. (ii) Application Fees (a) Non-Refundable fees for UR/OBC category is Rs 500/-. (b) SC/ST and PWD candidates need not pay any fee for application. (iii) Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. It should be kept active during the process of recruitment. The IGNTU will send call letters for written test, interview etc. through the registered email ID or the same may be downloaded from the designated portal. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to/or any other persons. (iv) In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he / she should create his / her new email ID before applying Online. (viii) The name of the candidate, Date of Birth and his / her Parents name etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the class x certificates / marks sheets. Any change / alteration found may disqualify the candidature. (ix) Candidates are required to download the call letter from IGNTU website www.igntu.ac.in Candidates may be intimated about the same through e-mail / SMS by the exam conducting agency of the IGNTU. However, candidates are advised in their own interest to view IGNTU website from time to time with regard to the call letters and other updates about written examination and interviews, as they may not get the intimation through email / SMS due to technical fault. No correspondence should be entertained by the IGNTU shall send separate intimation to the candidates to this effect. (x) A candidate may apply for more than one post if he is eligible and desires to do so. In such cases, the candidate will have to pay the requisite fee and fill its separate online application form for all the posts applied for. 6 General Instructions to the candidates (1) The vacancies for the post of Principal TGTs & Primary Teachers indicated above are tentative and likely to change. (2) Results of the written examination will be published in IGNTU Website in due course. No enquiry in this regard will be entertained by IGNTU. (3) The list of candidates called for Interview will be displayed in IGNTU website. (4) The list of short listed candidates for recruitment to the post of Principal TGTs & Primary Teachers subject wise will also be displayed in the IGNTU website. No separate correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. (5) Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate. (6) The IGNTU may take up the verification of eligibility of the candidate at any point of time prior to or after the completion of the selection process. Even if Admit Card is issued to a candidate due to lack of information in the application form or otherwise and if it is found at any stage (including the date of joining & thereafter) that the candidate is not eligible, then his / her candidature shall be summarily rejected. (7) The IGNTU may, at its discretion, hold re-examination as and when necessary in case need arises for the same. In such an eventuality, candidate will have to appear for such reexamination at his / her own cost. (8) No TA/DA etc. will be paid for appearing in the written test. (9) Selected candidates will initially be on probation for a period of two years, which can be extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority. (10) Qualifications acquired by the candidates should be strictly in accordance with the prescribed qualifications. Any candidate seeking claim of equivalence of the qualifications with that of the notified one should furnish documentary evidence in support of their claim at the time of interview / selection, otherwise such cases will be rejected. Similarly, where grades have been given, the position of the mark-sheets showing equivalent percentage of marks should be produced at the time of interview / selection.

(11) Test books, answer sheets (OMR), application form will be preserved up to the period of six months only, from the date of declaration of final result and thereafter, these shall stand destroyed. (12) In case of any discrepancy or variation in the translated version of this advertisement is found in Hindi or any other language, the text provided in the English version will be treated as final. (13) Relaxation in age and experience etc. may be granted to the candidates belonging to the Schedule Cast / Schedule Tribes / OBC / PWD or other reserved categories as per the UGC / Govt. of India guidelines. A certificate to this effect issued from the Competent Authority should be attached with the prescribed application form. Wherever, relaxation of qualification including percentage of marks is permitted under the UGC / Govt. of India guidelines, such relaxation shall also be considered in appropriate cases subject to recommendations of the Screening Committee. Other conditions (i) Mere possession of eligibility conditions shall not entitle a candidate to be called for written test / interview. The date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the closing date as prescribed in the advertisement for receipt of the applications. In other words no candidate shall be called for interview if he / she does not possess the minimum qualification and experience etc. as on the closing date of the application for a particular post. (ii) Candidate who is already in service should submit his / her application through proper channel. However, he / she may send an advance copy of his / her application and should produce a No objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview failing which he / she shall not be entertained in interview. (iii) It is the responsibility of the candidate to assess his own eligibility for the post for which he / she is applying in accordance with the prescribed qualification, experience etc. and submit his / her application duly filled-in along with the desired information, documents and other supporting materials as per the advertisement both through online and by post. Suppression of factual information, supply of fake documents, providing false or misleading information or any other undesirable action by the candidate shall lead to cancellation of his candidature. In case, it is detected at any point of time in future even after appointment that the candidate was not eligible as per the prescribed qualification, experience etc. which could not be detected at the time of interview due to whatever circumstances, his appointment shall be liable to termination forthwith as per this clause and also based on his undertaking. (iv) (a) The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill up the Posts advertised for any reasons whatsoever. (b) The University reserves the right to withdraw the advertisement either partly or wholly at any time without assigning any reason to this effect.

(c) The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the vacancies according to the circumstances. (d) Interim enquires shall not be entertained. (v) The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay. The candidate shall be required to submit the list of enclosures and also write his / her complete information with regard to his / her correspondence and permanent address with pin code, telephone numbers, cell-phone numbers, e-mail ID, if any in the application which will facilitate communication at any point of time as prescribed.
