1- DECODING 2- ORGANISATION & RETRIEVAL Apply their growing knowledge of root words, prefixes and suffixes (morphology and etymology), both to read aloud and to understand the meaning of new words that they meet. READING DETECTIVE 4- WRITERS USE OF LANGUAGE Identifying how language, structure and presentation contribute to meaning Provide reasoned justifications for their views.
