ISSUE 8 JAUNARY& FEBRUARY 2012 Special points of interest: QUZ COMPETITION CLASS ASSEMBLIES INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL EXHIBITION SPORTS DAY MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL S DESK Dear Parents and fellow educators and my dear students, In this editorial I would like to concentrate on some character building words which can continue into the next few months. Society is rapidly changing as a whole. There is a combination of factors that affect overall discipline of the student community. For this newsletter we would like to focus on the following words, which I am sure the parents could take up at home. Responsibility Perseverance Kindness Compassion Dependability Work Generosity Thankfulness Friendliness Manners Determination Obedience Forgiveness I would like families to use these key words build character traits in kids. These key words could be stuck above a mirror or the fridge or maybe the LCD TV screen!! The power of positive encouragement is amazing.. Use each word for a week and see the difference. All the best to all of you.. Let's join hands to make our student community a better world. All the best Thanks & Regards John A Bagul PRINCIPAL SOUTHCITYINTERNATIONALSCHOOL
