(1995) in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management and a Ph.D. (2001) in Botany from the University of Wyoming. Dr. Lyford had been the Director of the General Biology Program at the University of Wyoming since 2003 and most recently served as Special Assistant to the Provost. Office of Research and Economic Development Synakowski, Edmund Vice President/ $260,000/FY 08/08/17 Edmund Synakowski received a B.A. (1982) in Physics from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. (1988) from the University of Texas. Dr. Synakowski has been the Associate Director of Science at the U.S. Department of Energy, for Fusion Energy Sciences since 2009. Dr. Synakowski is being hired with tenure in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the rank of.

(1969) in AgriBusiness from South Dakota State University, a M.S. (1971) in Agricultural Economics, a M.A. (1978) in Economics from Western Illinois University, and a Ph.D. (1979) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Chicoine served as President and at South Dakota State University from 2007 2016. Dr. Chicoine is currently an Emeritus of Economics at South Dakota State University. *Appointment approved June 7, 2017. Harm Benson has been an Assistant (2008-2014) and Associate (2014-present) at the University of New Mexico in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies.
