Appendix-IIA ADVERTISEMENT Invitation of application for the posts of Pro-Vice Chancellors of Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University, Dhanbad; Nilamber-Pitamber University, Medininagar, Palamu and Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka. Pursuant to the ensuing vacancies of the post of Pro-Vice-Chancellors of Nilamber- Pitamber University, Medininagar, Palamu and Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka with effect from 02.03.2018 and 08.03.2018 respectively and also to fill up the post of Pro-Vice Chancellor of newly created University namely, Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University, Dhanbad, Hon ble the Governor of Jharkhand cum Chancellor of Universities of Jharkhand has constituted a Search-cum-Selection Committee. The Committee invites application from interested candidates having scholarly pursuit, academic interest and administrative ability with resume and reference of two academicians for recommending a panel of names to the Hon ble the Governor cum Chancellor of Universities of Jharkhand for appointment of Pro Vice Chancellors of above captioned Universities. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - 1. For the post of Pro V.C. the applicant must be a whole time professor of any University. 2. It would be relevant to mention that the pay scale and service conditions under UGC Regulation for the Pro-VC in the State of Jharkhand has been adopted by HRD Dept s Resolution No.5/fo1-06/2009/1188 dated 20.11.2010. 3. The candidates for the post of Pro V.C. must not be above 65 years of age as on the date of publication of advertisement. 4. The application shall only be submitted in a duly filled prescribed format, which can be downloaded from www.rajbhavanjharkhand.nic.in. Incomplete application form shall be rejected. 5. Recent self attested passport size photograph and signature of applicant shall be scanned at proper place. Page 1 of 2

6. The applicants need not submit any certificates in proof of their educational qualifications. 7. All educational qualifications must have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institution in India and/or abroad and if grades are awarded instead of marks, applicant should clearly indicate their numerical equivalent. 8. Suppression of any material information or misrepresentation in the application form shall automatically disqualify the candidate and further may attract prosecution. 9. Application received after due date and time shall not be considered. 10. Canvassing in any form will invite disqualification. 11. The applicants should have a valid e-mail id and be kept active during the entire period of consideration. The Search-cum-Selection Committee shall not be liable for failure of communication, if incorrect or inactive e-mail id is furnished. 12. The last date for submitting prescribed application form is 19 th March, 2018 at 06.00 P.M. from date of publication of advertisement on 23 rd February, 2018. 13. The application in prescribed format/nomination shall be submitted to Officer on Special Duty (Judicial) to Hon ble Governor through the following e-mail address jhrgov@jhr.nic.in 14. The application submitted other than through e-mail shall not be taken into consideration by the Search-cum-Selection Committee. 15. The candidates in addition to the application submitted through e-mail (compulsory) must also submit three sets of hard copies of application on the above address ensuring to reach by 26 th March,2018 within office hour either by hand/post/courier service. 16.
