A shout out to the parents who supported and assisted with the boys AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS CLUBS Our after school Sports Clubs, which are provided by outside providers, will be continuing through until the end next term in December. Could we ask if you will check with your child to see if they still wish to continue with their chosen club after the October half term Thank you Appeal for Bulbs and Compost We would like to plant some Winter Bulbs with the Children and to add some winter colour to the school grounds. We would be grateful to anyone who could donate planters, compost and bulbs for the children to enjoy. YOXALL ST PETER S ONLINE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER At Yoxall St Peter's Primary School, the safeguarding of our children is our paramount concern. You will have noticed an increase in our output as we aim to keep on top of the very latest developments To this end, we are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Knowsley City Learning Centres to produce a monthly Online Safety newsletter solely dedicated to keeping you up to the minute with news and changes in the landscape. The first bulletin will be attached with today Newsletter. Rest assured, we coach the children about Online Safety on a weekly basis, using the SMART acronym. If you are at all worried about your child's behaviour online you may speak to a member of staff or talk to the NSPCC at https://www.nspcc.org.uk/what-we-do/about-us/contact-us? utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_campaign=brand-response-2018&utm_content=brand-sitelinkcontactus&gclid=eaiaiqobchmijc6y8syn3giv0of3ch1m6gl7eaayasabegkor_d_bwe&gclsrc=aw.ds. As many of the children in the school have older brothers and sisters, we will also be giving notice of concerns or features of Apps that are not actually for primary-age children, however they may be programs that the children come into contact with through their older siblings. This will enable parents to judge how best to handle the Apps at home.
