Pauline Vata Executive Director Pauline Vata is a law graduate from the University of Nairobi and an advocate of the High

Court of Kenya. She leads the innovative litigation team at Hakijamii on economic and social rights, having brought on board 2 years of extensive law firm experience. She also coordinates Hakijamii s work in monitoring and giving publicity to violations of housing and basic rights of the urban poor. When Pauline is not advocating for a society that is free from discrimination, she enjoys cooking and is a great cook while at it. Lucy Baraza Finance, Administration and Human Resources Officer Ms. Baraza, is the Finance, Administration and Human Resources Officer of Hakijamii and in charge of the organization s financial management, human resources and overall administration. She has acquired extensive experience in donor and organizational financial reporting, designing program budgets, human resource and administration. Lucy has conducted a number of community trainings on financial management and reporting. She has attended a number of trainings including, resource mobilization, high impact leadership, monitoring & evaluation, tax regulations among others. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Diploma in Project Management and a Certified Public Accountant (K) registered with accounting professional body ICPAK. Kenya University (specialized in accounting). He joined Hakijamii in June 2009. Peter has nine years of experience as an accountant/finance officer in NGOs. Peter plays a significant role in financial reviews and ensures compliance in multi-donor environments. His training and practical experience includes financial planning, accounting, and management for decisionmaking, grants management and donor reporting. When he is not playing with numbers, you can find him outdoors enjoying a game of soccer.

She has also trained in various areas especially on matters of Child Protection Policy and ways of handling children within Charitable Children Institutions, Behaviour Communication Change, information management and financial management skills. She has worked as an Administrator with a non-governmental organization and also volunteered with various government institutions as a volunteer social worker.

He has worked on various human right issues including reducing police brutality, promoting access to water, sanitation and hygiene, campaigning against gender based violence, maternal health promotion among others. His skills are to be used in ensuring that the Right to Health, Water and Sanitation is progressively achieved by creating a platform where the duty bearers and rights holders can negotiate and ensure provision of health water and
