School should register in CBSE Sports portal http://cbsesports.in/cbse_sports_system_new/apply_to_participate.php one week before the scheduled date of the tournament. General Rules and Regulations All teams shall be accompanied by a Teacher/Coach/Manager designated by participating team Principal. No team shall be accompanied by any parent. In case of girl participants (out station), accompanying official must be female. Team manager /coach must provide the required documents for the verification in original when asked by organizing secretary. Team photo with school principal along with the entry proforma duly countersigned by concerned principal should be produced at the time of entry in school campus. For participant studying in IX & above, CBSE registration No. should be provided to the organizing secretary. Identity Cards to be brought by the students and coaches duly stamped and signed by the participating school Principal. Proof of payment of CBSE annual sports fee for the year 2015-2016 is to be submitted. Boarding and lodging charges will be Rs. 350/- per day. Security deposit of Rs. 2000/ per Team is to be deposited at the time of registration. Participants must bring their own blankets and bed sheets. No costly items or jewelry are to be brought. Each school will bring it s school flag. All the matches will be played according to the rules of Table Tennis federation of India (TTFI) as adopted by them from time to time unless otherwise modified in these rules by CBSE. Every school is entitled to enter one team in each age group separately in boys and girls Category. In boys category the team shall consist of maximum four and minimum three players. In girls category the team shall consist of maximum four and minimum two players. The order of play shall be as follows BOYS CATEGORY I A v/s X I A v/s X II B v/s Y II B v/s Y III C v/s Z III DOUBLES IV A v/s Y IV A v/s Y V B v/s X V B v/s X GIRLS CATEGORY The matches up to quarter final stage will be played as best of three games. Semifinal and Final matches will be played as best of five games. The balls to be used in tournament shall be TTFI approved. The Team winning first three positions shall be awarded with merit certificates. Not more than four merit certificates will be awarded to a team. From each cluster the first winner team in each age group,separately in boys and girls category, shall qualify to participate at national level. No change in composition of team from cluster level to national level will be allowed The school organizing cluster level competition shall take a group photo of the teams/individual players that have qualified to participate at national level competition. The photo shall be signed by the Principal of the

organizing school which will be forwarded to the school organizing the next level of competition along with the original entry form. At cluster level, tournament will be organized on knockout basis and at national level it will be organized on league cum knockout basis. In addition to team championship separate individual championship will be conducted at each cluster level. In cluster level individual championship, only the schools that are participating as a team shall be eligible to sponsor one player to play in individual championship in each category separately for boys and girls. From each cluster the first and second position winning player of individual championship shall qualify to participate in Nationals. A player/team may be disqualified/scratched for the following reasons. 1. If the ineligibility of any member of the team is detected. 2. Inclusion of non bonafide student in the team. 3. Misbehavior on ground by athlete or accompanying official. 4. Use of abusive language by athlete or accompanying official. 5. Misbehavior with Officials/Opponents by athlete or accompanying official. 6. Indiscipline at the place of stay by athlete or accompanying official. 7. Damaging the school property. 8. Indiscipline during the Opening and Closing ceremonies by athlete or accompanying official. 9. Non participation in March Past.
