Sound good? Let s get started! Adding tasks to your list To add a task from TheSchoolBus, go to the task homepage and browse all our available tasks. These are sorted into groups and listed under their relevant category. Tasks can be added in three ways: 1. Add a group of tasks that work towards a larger goal such as GDPR compliance 2. Add a single task that you want to take care of 3. Add your own tasks (you can make your own groups too) Select a goal you want to accomplish to access the tasks within that group. For example, if you want to get in line with the removal of disqualification by association, you should click the heading we ve highlighted in yellow. Page 2
Inside a group, you can see a short description of the aim of the group and view all the tasks we ve suggested to achieve your goal. Click Add To My Tasks to add a task to your task list. We ve highlighted it in yellow here for clarity. If you want to add an entire group, add each task from the list (we will soon be adding an Add All function to save you a little more time). When you ve added all the tasks you want to accomplish, visit your task list to start organising your workload. You can also access your task list via the task homepage or in My Account. Page 3
Making the most of your task list Tasks inside a group are organised in the order we suggest you tick them off, but you can easily sort and filter them using the options on the left-hand side. Page 4
Viewing your tasks individually If you prefer to view all your tasks together, select List View. Page 5
Making a task your own Open a task to add helpful notes, set your priority level and change the status, i.e. In progress or Completed. If a task has a deadline, you can set one here and ask for an email reminder 2 weeks, 1 week, 3 days or 1 day before the deadline, or on the deadline day itself. Just choose from the dropdown options. Page 6
Getting a head start Each task links you to related advice or a compliant template giving you a kick-start towards completion. Just click the link highlighted here in yellow and a new tab will open providing you with the support you re looking for. Page 7
Ticking tasks off your to-do list When you re done with a task, simply change the status to complete. If you want a completed task out of your way, you can archive it and remove it from your list. So you can keep track of your many achievements, archived tasks can be easily retrieved. Just click Show Archived Tasks. As you work through tasks in a group, you can clearly see your progress towards your goals. When a task becomes overdue, your task list will let you know. Page 8
Making it personal Don t forget, you can add your own tasks. If you want to add your tasks to a custom group, it s best to make the group first. This way, you can easily assign a task to a group during its creation. Page 9
