The purpose of publication of this Journal is to provide a forum for the Teachers, Teacher Educators, Educational Administrators, Policymakers and scholars; to encourage original and critical thinking in education, value education, peace & harmony education through presentation of novel ideas, critical appraisals of contemporary educational problem, views and experiences in relation to changing trends and innovations in educational practices. Gandhi Vidya Mandir (IASE Deemed University) has a very long experience of research and training in education. Gandhi Vidya Mandir established Basic Teachers Training College in 1953 which was inaugurated by the than Education Minister (in the presence of Education Secretary, Govt. of India). It is one of oldest teachers Training College in Rajasthan M.Ed. was started in 1959 and Ph.D. in 1968. Here the teachers are trained for all the three courses M.Ed., B.Ed. & STC. BTTC is well known for its performance and result. Publication of Journal in the field of education is not a little conquest. We have set norms & standards for selection and publishing the research work in this Journal. Our efforts will be to maintain the standard of the Journal. We would also like to take this opportunity to invite quality research work, review of study and outstanding articles in the field of education for publication in the future volumes. FACULTY OF EDUCATION Basic Teacher s Training College Basic Teachers Training College is the main part of GVM, a Public Charitable Educational Institution of National importance started on 2nd October, 1950 in the sacred memory of Mahatma Gandhi registered under Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860. GVM was founded with a view to develop it into an independent University, Basic Teachers Training College was established on 9th Aug. 1953 Inaugurated by Shri Bhola Nath Master, The Education Minister in the presence of Dr. Humanyu Kabir, then Education Secretary, Govt. of India. M.Ed. was started in 1959 and Ph.D. in 1968. It is one of the few training colleges of India and the only training college affiliated to the University of Rajasthan where Teachers are trained for all the three courses M.Ed., B.Ed. & STC at that time. BTTC is well known for its performance and result. The students individually attend tutorial classes, group teaching systems and co curricular activities. Motto of BTTC is Lead me from darkness to light. The Teachers and Pupil Teachers of BTTC are inculcated with national values and universal standards. Due to its excellent work in Education, IASE became Deemed University in 2002.To nourish the requirement for training of primary teachers, STC course (Two Years) was started in 2005. From 20th February 2008 IASE is converted into CTE to improve the quality of Teaching at Secondary Levels through specific courses devised for training of in service teachers. Another course in teacher training i.e. Shiksha Shatri, started in 2008, Proved a milestone in the journey of Teacher Training. The institution has an excellent infrastructure including spacious classrooms, digital library (with DELNET and 42552 books, 21 National and 23 International Journals) SUPW ROOM, History, Commerce, Hindi, Sanskrit, S.S., English, Geography Department, Linguistic Lab, Seminar and Assembly Hall etc. Well equipped laboratories, Conference room, Edu. Set Studio, Modern Computer Lab, Auditorium, Psychology Lab, E.T., Physics, Chemistry, Life Science & Maths Lab. The institution has its prime ambition to get acknowledged as a premier institution with difference. First Research Journal, Abstracts of Research Projects in Education was published by the institution in 1963 64 and quarterly magazine named Adarsh Patrika in 1964-65. Thus the institution stands out as a unique College of Teacher Education for its distinct emphasis on imparting the sound theoretical knowledge of curriculum, subject matter, teaching and training methods including practical exposure to actual teaching with a humanistic touch to groom the student teachers to become both effective teachers and fine persons. Finally the student teachers become capable of carving out and drawing out the best in human who would contribute in shaping the future of the State and building the Global Village.

Transcripts Submission Information ISSN 2319-2011 (Research Journal) INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHOR Baat Shiksha ki is a research journal that publishes original papers on various aspects of educational research, educational philosophies, theories, peace-harmony, human values. Multidisciplinary papers are also welcomed. Accepted papers will be edited as deemed appropriate. Normally, the editor does not send page proofs back to the authors for checking. 1. All contributions are subject to review therefore the title page should only contain the contributor s name, institutional affiliation, contact details including their e-mail IDs of all authors, and the contributor should not be able to be identified within the text. The title of the paper should be repeated at the top of the first page of the typescript. Contributors will normally be informed of the decision of the editorial board within 90 days. Contributions should also be accompanied by a 100-150 word abstract and a list of key words for indexing reference. 2. The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory and point out major findings and conclusions. Complete sentences, active verbs, and the third person should be used, and the abstract should be written in the past tense. Standard nomenclature should be used and abbreviations should be avoided. No literature should be cited. 3. The Introduction should provide a clear statement of the problem, the relevant literature on the subject, and the proposed approach or solution. It should be understandable to readers from a broad range of scientific discipline. 4. All transcripts must be submitted in hard copy and electronically (e-mail/cd) in MS Word attachment and must adhere to (i) Times New Roman 12pt. font, (devlys 010 12pt for Hindi) (ii) 1.5 spacing, (iii) justified, (iv) page numbers, (v) no paragraph indention, (vi) no identifying headers and footers are to be used in papers which are to be blind-referred, and (vii) double spacing between paragraphs. Authors are requested to ensure that their paper(s) adhere to correct and consistent documentation (confirming to APA documentation style), punctuation, format, and others before submission. 5. Research Paper should generally run maximum 5000 words (excluding notes). Commentaries and short communication papers should be in between 1000 to 1500 words. The entire transcripts should have one and a half-inch margin on all sides. Tables should be clear and understandable independent of the text. 6. Book review of important literature in education can also be sent. 7. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for including any copyrighted material that needs permission for reproducing previously published materials, charts, photographs, tables and images. Although contributing authors retain copyright, they give permission to Editor, Baat Shiksha ki to reprint their published papers/articles in other electronic and print formats, including books. 8. All authors must take public responsibility for the contents of their paper. Careful reading of the Author Instructions before Submit by Transcripts is advised. Author(s) must acknowledge the sources of data used in the transcripts. If errors are discovered in the transcripts after submission they must be quickly communicated to the Editor. 9. Photos and images should be sent in GIF/JPG format separately. The softcopy of the transcripts has to be sent to the Editor, Baat Shiksha ki. by E- mail: editorbatshikshaki@gmail.com

10. Submission implies commitment to publish in the journal. Authors submitting transcripts to Baat Shiksha ki should not simultaneously submit them to another journal for consideration of publication, nor should the transcripts have been published elsewhere including in web form. All transcripts are subject to review process by academicians working in the relevant fields.
