ME MODULAR PROGRAMMES - 2015 Second Counselling on 05.06.2015 at 2.00PM All interested eligible candidates (full time sponsored Regular teachers from Technical Institutions and Working Professionals from Industry/Other Organizations as per our fresh advertisement dated 31 st May, 2015 including the Wait-Listed candidates and those candidates whose applications were received after due date) are requested to attend the second counseling in person (at their OWN EXPENSES) with original documents against Vacant on 05.06.2015 (Friday) in the institute Conference Hall at 2.00PM and upon admission, they will be required to deposit requisite fee the same day failing which they will forefit the claim for admission to the applied programmes. The admission granted to the candidates at the time of counseling is PURELY PROVISIONAL subject to approval by the Panjab University, Chandigarh and fulfilling the requisite formalities and producing the original certificates of qualifications, experience and sponsorship at the time of counseling. Fresh applicants are required to submit their applications (downloaded from ME Brochure-2015 available at the institute website) along with copies of all the documents (as per detail given in the ME Brochure-2015) and a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Technical s Training & Research payable at Chandigarh by 10.00AM on 05.06.2015 for attending the counseling at 2.00PM. As notified, the classes will commence from 07 th June, 2015. For Kind Attention of Candidates under category Candidates who have applied for seeking admission to ME Modular Programmes under cateogy are required to furnish affidavit from Executive Magistrate at the time of counseling that he/she belongs to category (For an updated list of state-wise s eligible for availing the benefit of reservation, please see the list maintained by NCBC at its website: http://ncbc.nic.in/backwardclasses/index.html) and that he/she does not belong to creamy layer (as per website http://ncbc.nic.in/html/creamylayer.html as well as the clarifications issued by the Department of Personnel & Training on the definition of creamy layer & income criteria at http://persmin.gov.in/writedata/wms/scandocument/36033-5-2004-01 April 2005.htm.)
Any eligible candidate who could not attend first counseling (or those who have not applied for the programme earlier) may attend the second counseling (as per our fresh advertisement dated 31 st May, 2015) and they would be offered seats against corresponding vacant seats as per merit, if any. However, vacant seats, if any, under sponsored teacher category candidates in all ME (Modular) programmes will be filled up from amongst corresponding eligible sponsored candidates from industry and other organizations.
