Approved the following budget transfers for the 2018-2019 school year: Amount Reason Building $ 200.00 Purchase of Generator Midd-West High School $3,700.00 Fitness Center Repairs Midd-West High School Approved the proposal for a 43-month term for Naviance with Hobson s, Inc., to provide a course planner and project consulting hours to be used in conjunction with the District s Chapter 339 Plan to begin December 1, 2018, at a total cost of $6,583.52. {The course planner feature works with the career pathways portion to help students schedule high school courses appropriately for career goals.} {This will be paid from the Curriculum and Instruction budget.} Approved the proposal for the rescanning of the District s fixed assets with Asset Control Solutions, Inc., for a term of one (1) year effective on October 31, 2018, through October 30, 2019, at a cost of $5,500.00. Approved the quote from Dauphin DataCom for an additional wireless network for more IP addresses to assign for Midd-West Middle School at a cost of $2,000.00. {This is needed due to adding the One-to-One Program and for any new technology purchased on the network.}

These plans are good for a six-year period. At the mid-point of this three-year period, a revision is required to update the plan so it reflects any necessary changes.} Approved a field trip to Hershey, PA, for DECA at Midd-West High School on November 30, 2018, through December 2, 2018. Approved a field trip to Harrisburg, PA, for the FFA Chapter at Midd-West High School on March 17, 2019, through March 19, 2019.

Approved the following additional student clubs for Midd-West Middle School for the 2018-2019 school year: Anime Club, Be Kind Club, Biking Club, Fishing Club and Kahoot Club. Approved the revised Policy Guide 006, Meetings, on first reading. Approved the revised Policy Guide 704, Maintenance, on first reading. Approved Elizabeth A. Garrison as an instructional assistant library at Midd-West High School to be effective on November 20, 2018, pending receipt of Act 34, 24 and 31. Approved to rescind the appointment of Andrew L. Wagner as assistant boys basketball coach at Midd-West High School for the 2018-2019 school year as approved at the August 27, 2018, regular meeting. Appointed the following individual for the 2018-2019 school year: Lance J. Adams as boys basketball coach head at Midd-West High School. Approved the following individual as a volunteer for the 2018-2019 school year: Dexter J. Herman as boys basketball coach at Midd-West School pending receipt of Act 151, 114 and 31. Approved the following individual as a support teacher for the 2018-2019 school year at a stipend of $500.00 pro rated: Kristi S. Kase. Approved the following individual as a homebound/in-home instruction instructor for the 2018-2019 school year at the hourly rate of $23.00 as indicated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement: Daniel G.
