Page 8 2013 Honor Flight Return Celebration Donnell and Glenwood Band Students go to Bluffton Jazz Camp The Donnell Band sent six students and Glenwood sent one student to the Bluffton University Middle School Jazz Camp in Bluffton, Ohio. Over two days the students practiced for eight hours over several tunes and finished with a concert in Yoder Recital Hall. Donnell had the largest number of students in the camp (six) and included: Gabby Brown (Bari-Sax), Cory Fox (Trumpet), Lizzy Fisher (Tenor-Sax), Robbie Schuck (Piano), Chad Quanrud (Alto-Sax) and Claire Whipkey (Guitar). Glenwood had Jared Fleckner (Alto- Sax) at the camp. Donnell Band Director Mr. Sheehe said "It was a great opportunity for all the students and they did a wonderful job at the camp!" The camp was under the direction of Paul Baransy and was assisted by Charlie Doepker, Jim Leman and Scott Lavender. SHOCKWAVE did an outstanding job in the July 4th parade.
