Description of work. EMD to be deposited. 1 Supply and installation of new 5 KVA UPS including batteries in the locations as per Annexure I. The specification is of the UPS should be as per Annexure-IV Completion time. 2 Supply of new 2 KVA UPS including batteries in the locations as per Annexure-II. If the locations are not ready items should be delivered at nearest location. 10000.00 15 days. 3 Supply and Installation of batteries in the locations as per Annexure-III. NIL 15 days 1. The tender document can be downloaded from www.esic.nic.in, www.esicner.in & Central Public Procurement Portal: eprocure.gov.in and https://esic.eproc.in from 03/04/2017 to 21/04/2017 Up to 13.00 Hrs 2. The interested bidders shall submit the tender online at https://esic.eproc.in in single bid system in the prescribed pro-forma. Tenders are to be submitted online only through e- procurement portal. All the supported documents shall also be required to be submitted physically along with Earnest Money Deposit (EM D). 3. The documents shall be submitted by eligible bidders in the document downloaded from the aforementioned website along with Earnest Money Deposit of RS.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) in the form of a Demand Draft I Pay Order in favor of "E.S.1. Fund Account No.1" Payable at Guwahati, in a separate envelope marked Tender for Supply & Installation of new 5KVA UPS and 2 KVA UPS including batteries and Installation of batteries. 4. Bidders are requested to submit all inclusive rates (including all taxes). The bidder should provide all the accessories like Rack for mounting the batteries, cables for all electrical connections etc. to complete the installation to bring the UPS functional in the site. 5. For all practical purposes, the e-tender shall be considered for evaluation, however in case of any dispute, the physical documents would be scrutinized. 6. In addition to e-tender which has to be filed on line the bidders shall be required to submit hard copies of Tender documents duly completed and supported by requisite documents and the forms, as mentioned in the tender document which should be submitted with covering letter in a sealed envelope duly super scribed with the words Tender for Supply & Installation of new 5KVA UPS and 2 KVA UPS including batteries and Installation of batteries" latest by 1300 hours on or before 21/04/2017. Which will be opened in the, Regional Office, Guwahati at 3.30 P.M on the same day. 7. Last Date of submission of Tender: 21/04/2017 Up to 13.00 Hrs through e-procurement portal. 8. Date & time of opening of tender: 21/04/2017 at 15.30 Hrs 9. Pre bid enquiry : The interested Firms/Agencies/Companies, before quoting their rates may visit Regional Office, NE Region, Bamunimaidan, Guwahati - 781021 for pre bid enquiry from 04/04/2017 to 20/04/2017 (from 2.30PM to 5.00PM) on any working day, if all the terms and conditions as mentioned in the Tender Notice are acceptable. 10. Legal Terms: In case of any disagreements so as to the interpretation of any clause or otherwise, relating to the contract, that may arise during or after the execution of the contract, and. Also in the event of any dispute the matter shall be referred to the person(s) to be appointed or nominated by Regional Director whose decision regarding interpretation shall be final. The proceedings of the arbitration shall be carried out only in Guwahati. Jurisdiction of legal disputes, if any, arising during the currency of contract will be settled in Courts of Guwahati. 11. Performance Security Performance Security is to be obtained from the successful bidder which should be for an amount of 10 (ten) percent of the value of the contract. The Performance Security will be worked out on the actual requirement at the time of selection of the bidder. Performance security should remain valid for a period of sixty days beyond the date of completion of all contractual obligations which is one year. EMD to be refunded to the unsuccessful bidder after issue of work order and successful bidder on receipt of Performance Security. Work order will be issued to the successful bidder on receipt of performance security by way of Demand Draft / Bank Guarantee. 12. The total work should be carried out under the guidance /supervision of the ESIC (ITC & Construction Branch) and as per I.E rule. 13. The quoted amount shall have to be written both in figure & in words duly signed by the agency. In case of failure to perform as per terms & condition and within specified time schedule mentioned in the tender paper the ESIC would have the right to invoke penalty as per standard norms of contract i.e. @ 1.25 % of the total work value for every week of delay or part there of as L.D subject to a maximum of 5 % of the cost of work. The Corporation reserves the right to change the scope of work and reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The Corporation is also not bound to accept the lowest tender.
