Thank you Jeannie and Scott for opening your home to this function. SECRETARY S REPORT Minutes of the Board Meeting held Sunday, May 22 nd @ the Prime Quarter were read. Motion made by Dick Krueger and seconded by Connie Krueger that minutes stand approved as read. TREASURER S REPORT Balance reported to meeting attendees ADVERTISING REPORT None at this time QUARTERMASTERS REPORT No Report OLD BUSINESS Dust Off Your Car Run on May 7 th had 14 SEWCC cars participating. The first stop was at the Public Safety Building in Kenosha with a tour of the 911 Department. Next the group went South West to Dynies on 83 in Salem, then West to Packer Inn(they have a great burger) in Twin Lakes across from the Dairy Queen (for those you preferred something

sweet). The last stop was dinner @ Little Europe. It was a beautiful day and a good time by all participating. Neuman Homes Open House held on May 21 st had 4 Corvettes from SEWCC and 10 cars from Kenosha Car Club. The day was sunny and pleasant with burgers, hot dogs and soda included in the 12:00Noon-3PM outing. A big Thank You to Dick and Connie Krueger, Tom and Sue Walther (two cars) and Dave and Sue Mann for representing SEWCC in this event. Jeannie Schneider is now on the board of New Members. Scott Schneider will assist as backup. A Big Thank You to the Schneider s for filling this position. SEWCC has decided to contribute monies from the clubs finances to two families of military personnel serving in Iraq. One of the military families is from Genoa City and has four children with electric about to be turned off and vehicle payments. The other military family is from West Allis. This Marine lived at home and supported his parents up to the time he was sent to Iraq. His father has had surgery and the family has high medical bills. A motion was made by Dick Krueger and seconded by Kim Manna to write checks for specific places of need for these families. Vote was passed. It was agreed to an approximate 80%-20% distribution, with 80% to the Genoa City family and 20% to the West Allis family.. Anyone wishing to make an additional donation over and above what the SEWCC is contributing may do so by sending their check to Kim Manna with their preference as to which family they would like to contribute to or if they would like it split 80%-20% for distribution between the two families. DEADLINE FOR PERSONAL DONATIONS TO THE FAMILIES MENTIONED ABOVE IS JUNE 15 th. Monetary donations after the above deadline will be accepted for future distribution to other families of military personnel. A job WELL DONE to Jeannie and Scott Schneider for their efforts in establishing a contact for this project. Jeannie spent many hours of communication and had gone through many government departments before finding Mary Bailey. If anyone has any items such as toiletries from hotels, magazines, chocolate, etc. the troops would be grateful to receive them. Contacts as to where to drop items off are: Mary Bailey @ mary.bailey1@us.army.mil 414-858-0320 or Jeannie Schneider @ corvette38@yahoo.com 262-634-5600 NEW BUSINESS The Bloomington Gold Warm Up Party usually held in June has been cancelled for this year. Our next event will be July 2 nd. SEWCC will be represented in the Twin Lakes Independence Day Parade. Following the parade the group will gather at Donna and Mike Means for a Business Meeting and picnic. Bring a dish to pass. We are asking all members to please start asking merchants for items for the Goodie Bags for our Car Show August 20 th.. Last year the bags were really full, so lets do the same this year. Saturday, August 20 th will be the date for stuffing bags at the Kenosha County Center. No further business, a motion was made to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 9:30PM Secretary s Corner "Team Player" Are you a team player? If your answer is "No," take a moment and think again. If you are alive, you re on a team. Maybe it's your family, your relationship, your business, or your community. Maybe it's your country or your planet. But no matter how you look at it, you are a member of a team. If you ask people about the richest experiences in their lives, they will usually come up with something they did as part of a team. Sometimes it's a sports

team, but more often it's a business team, or family members, or some other group that was helping each other achieve a common goal. You can sit on the bench and watch, or you can get up and play. My advice to you is "be a player." Get involved. Have a say in calling the plays. Participate! Vote! It's a lot more fun and, yes, you're right, it's more work, too. But the more you give, the more you'll get. What do you care about? What's important to you? There are other people out there who care about that too. Why not join with them in a common cause? You know, personal power is a fine thing, but the ultimate power is the tremendous energy created by people working together. No one can make your unique contribution, and no, they won't get along just fine without you. So, what are you waiting for? You are a team player. Now all you need to do is get on the team.
