S. University, Baroda. The aim of the seminar was to draw the attention of student community towards Nuclear Power as Safe, economical, environmentally benign & long term source of electrical energy. Total 676 visitors visited the plant which includes villagers, senior citizens, students and teachers from schools/colleges. All the visitors were briefed about important aspects of Nuclear Power in KAPS information centre with the help of models and displays. Field visit was also made by all the visitors along with the technical guide from KAPS-1&2. This enabled in depth discussion and clarifications, especially for students. Page 1 of 11
