A Map of the UH Mānoa Strategic Plan to the WASC Standards Note: The following bullet items are Strategic imperatives included in the UH Mānoa Strategic Plan, Defining Our Destiny, that address WASC Standards (listed in parenthesis). For a full outline of the WASC Standards, refer to page 15 of the 2008 WASC Handbook of Accreditation (Updated WASC Standards, February 22, 2008, pages 1 16). Research Recruit, reward, and support outstanding faculty, staff, and students committed to research and graduate education. (WASC Standards 2.1, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4) Set high standards for retention, post-tenure review, and merit pay.
