Key phases in award process TALENTIA holds bi-annual calls awarding several hundred fellowships every year enabling successful postgraduate candidates to pursue masters or Ph.D. programs in leading universities and educational institutions abroad. Talentia Profile Average age: 27 Average work experience: 2 years Average languages spoken: 2 Average experience abroad: 1 academic year Though in Andalusia more women than men go to university, there are more male than female awardees. This deviation comes mainly from the MBA candidates, as the male/female ration in leading business schools is around 1 to 3. As for the destination, most awardees go to European and North American universities. One of our challenges is placing more students in Asian countries, where Andalusian companies have interests. Most awardees take Masters programs. Up to 25% of awards have been reserved for MBA candidates since 2009 and the percentage is since then going up. As for the area of study, awards reflect proportions out of Andalusian universities. Since 2009 up to 60% of the awards can be reserved for programs in the areas of science and technology.

Academic partners MOU s To better serve students TALENTIA is advancing a dialogue with leading universities throughout the world that recognize international education as a means to mutual understanding, dynamic cooperation and growth. This network will support exchanges of information, ideas and goals that transform learning outcomes into remarkable educational achievements. The main objective of the Memorandum of Understanding is to facilitate academic/administrative cooperation between institutions and to promote alliances with leading universities around the world. Talentia Fellowship awardees will interrelate and make leading contacts with the world s most prestigious professors and with students from all around the globe, called upon to lead their sectors of activity. We would like to train a new generation of bilingual Andalusian graduates, with a global perspective and a wish to exploit their talent. Because they will become the leaders of Andalusia s future!
