Last Tuesday the team ran at Yarra Glen Racecourse. The track was very heavy but our runners responded well. The twelve of our runners went back today to compete at the regional level. Thanks to Ms Atkinson for her training and dedication to the team. A huge thank you must go to the parents who helped out with support and driving our competitors. Magnificent Market Day What a magnificent day we had for Market Day on Friday! I loved it. Congratulations to the students for managing the whole process of Market Day and to the staff for their guidance and support. The opportunity for our children to go through this experience is wonderful. It certainly mirrors real life. The money raised will go towards the valuable life saving excursion at the end of the year and a bit more. Thank you to all our local businesses for supporting our event. Mini maker Day This event will be held on Friday June 17 th 9.30-11.30. Well done to all our students for their hard work. Planning week This week and next Monday each team will have their planning day to prepare for term 3. The preparation that goes on is invaluable. PRINCIPAL S CORNER (continued from page 1) 3/4 Expo and Letterland Parade In the coming days we have a number of events. 3/4 Expo will be presenting their ERT findings for parents and the Letterland Parade will be lots of fun. Watch out for information regarding these events and see your class teacher if you have any questions. Enrolments Prep 2017 Enrolment forms are being accepted at the office. If you know anyone in the area who may need a form let them know tours are available and paperwork can be collected at the office or sent home. End of term Don t forget school finishes on June 24 th at 2.30pm for our term holidays. School resumes on Monday 11 th July at 9am.
