Timothy Pannett, Principal, Brooke High School, requests permission for the following: (1) Mrs. Byard and the BHS Madrigal Choir to travel to and perform at the Newport Baptist Church in Newport, Ohio, on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 (3:45 p.m.-10:00 p.m.). School bus transportation is also requested and will be paid by the Choral account. (2) Mrs. Byard and the BHS Madrigal Choir to travel to and perform at the Wellsburg Moose on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 (11:40 a.m.-1:15 p.m.). School bus transportation is also requested and will be paid by the Choral account. (3) Mrs. Byard and the BHS Madrigal Choir to travel to and perform at the Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wheeling, WV on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 (6:15 p.m.-10:00 p.m.). School bus transportation is also requested and will be paid by the Choral account. (4) Johnny Leonard and the BHS Band to travel to and perform at two West Virginia University Basketball games on Saturday, December 29, 2018 and Sunday, December 30, 2018. School bus transportation is also requested, to be paid by the Brooke County Board of Education. B. Jennifer Sisinni, Principal, Brooke Middle School, requests permission for the following: (1) Ms. Fuscardo and Ms. Bertelli s students to travel to the Marquee Cinemas at the Highlands to see The Grinch on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 (8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.). School bus transportation is also requested and will be paid by the autism fund and students. (2) Mr. Huntzinger, Ms. Packer and the After School STEM-Robotics Team to travel to Ripley High School on Saturday, December 15, 2018 (5:15 p.m.-6:30 p.m.). Also requested is use of two county vehicles, meal reimbursement for Mr. Huntzinger and Ms. Packer and reimbursement for fuel. C. Scott Donohew, Principal, Brooke Intermediate South, requests permission for to use one (1) school bus to shuttle students from Brooke Intermediate South to Brooke Hills Free Methodist Church for the annual Christmas concert on Friday, December 21, 2018 (10:00 am.-noon). Expenses to be paid by the Brooke County Board of Education.

Approval, upon the Superintendent s recommendation, for Use of Facilities, as approved or denied through the office of Rob Robinson. F. Approval, upon the Superintendent s recommendation, for Out of Area Attendance Requests, as approved or denied through the office of Stephanie Blundon. G. Approval, upon the Superintendent s recommendation, of Budget Supplements, as submitted. H. Approval, upon the Superintendent s recommendation, for payment of the current bills, said bills are available for public review during normal business hours (8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) in the business office. I. Rob Robinson, Director of Facilities, Maintenance and Technology, requests permission to accept the auction proposal submitted by Mr. Brian Shafer representing the Auction Block. IX. NEW BUSINESS (PERSONNEL): Approval, upon the Superintendent s following recommendations; to employ personnel, accept resignations, leaves of absences, certification/salary adjustments and any other personnel matters, as submitted below. All proposed actions on employment are subject to modifications. The superintendent may make additional personnel recommendations and that list will be available at the meeting. Certified Professional Posting #A-1066: 1) Nicholaus Tracy, Game Day Manager, Winter 2019, Brooke Middle School, with responsibilities to be assigned by the Principal and Athletic Director, for the 2019 Winter season. 2) Justyne Strohmeyer, Substitute Teacher, Brooke County Schools, to be called as needed, for the 2018-19 school year. 3) Blake Williams, Substitute Teacher, Brooke County Schools, to be called as needed, for the 2018-19 school year. Service Personnel Posting #1040: 1) Jessica Hunter, Substitute Aide, Brooke County Schools, to be called as needed for the 2018-19 school year. 2) Tina Robertson, Substitute Aide, Brooke County Schools, to be called as needed for the 2018-19 school year, pending physical and lift test. 3) Jennifer Clark, Substitute Aide, Brooke County Schools, to be called as needed for the 2018-19 school year, pending physical and lift test. 4) Rita Smith, Substitute Aide, Brooke County Schools, to be called as needed for the 2018-19 school year, pending physical and lift test.

AMENDED AGENDA Page 4 The following Recommendation is presented for Board approval: 1) Toni A. Paesano Shute, Superintendent, Brooke County Schools, recommends Robert Robinson, Donald S. Mitchell, and Harry O. Moore, Jr., as the designated Asbestos Inspectors and Asbestos Management Planners for the Brooke County Board of Education. The following Leaves of Absence are presented for Board approval: 1) Faith Magnone, Physical Education Teacher, Brooke Primary South, requesting leave of absence for November 19, 2018 through December 14, 2018, using seven (7) dock days. The following Resignations are presented for Board approval: 1) Gary Matteson, Substitute Teacher, Brooke County Schools, resignation effective immediately. 2) Richard Whitehead, Assistant Track Coach, Brooke Middle School, resignation effective immediately. 3) Jennifer Sisinni, Assistant Track Coach, Brooke Middle School, resignation effective immediately. The following Leaves of Absence are presented for Board approval: 2) Chelsey Stockdale, Special Education Teacher, Brooke Middle School, requesting leave of absence for December 21, 2018 through February 15, 2019. Code 18A-2-7b(a) no person employed and assigned to a professional position may transfer to another professional position in the county during the instructional term. Said employees may apply for any position posted, vacant position with the successful applicant assuming the position at the beginning of the instructional term.

Code 18A-2-7b(b) no autism mentor, paraprofessional, interpreter, ECCAT, or aide working with exceptional students shall transfer prior to the next instructional term. These employees may apply for any posted vacancy and assume the position at the beginning of the next instructional term. Other service personnel may transfer to another position one time only during any one-half of the instructional term. Certification/Salary Adjustments: None X.
