NIST Agreement: use of MARBIONC NIST provided a $15 million grant to help build the MARBIONC (2010) 13 laboratories (16,560 sq ft) for lease for marine science entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and economic development Dr. Stuart Borrett Interim Associate Provost for Research As of October 2018, 8 labs are leased to companies (62% of lease sq ft) Requesting NIST permission to use the unleased laboratories to accommodate faculty displaced from Dobo Hall for up to 3 years.
