I Want to Plan my Schedule The first step in the registration process is to plan your schedule. Not all students are eligible to register online, but all students can plan their schedules online, print them out, and proceed to register in person. Plan My Schedule will show your eligibility status to register online or in person. If you are not eligible to register, the reason (s) will be listed along with the contact information for the office that can assist you. Important: A maximum number of 20 classes is allowed on your plan. Plan My Schedule Screen 1. From the econnect Student menu choose "Plan My Schedule". 2. If you have not already logged in to econnect you will be prompted to login. Press here to add a class 3. Press the "Add new class to my plan" button located below My Plan. Page 1 of 8
Find Classes and Register Screen Select the term Select one or more location. Selecting a location narrows your choices Select one or more Course(s), and then enter the course number(s). Entering the section number will restrict the results to only that section. Entering information in this section will result in fewer choices and should only be used if too many results are returned in a previous search. 4. Enter a term, location(s), and one or more courses and course numbers. 5. Press the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page. Page 2 of 8
Class Selection Results Screen 6. Select the class(es) you would like to add to your plan. 7. Press the "Submit" button to add your selections to your plan. Page 3 of 8

Added class(es) will appear under My Plan. o Note: Date/time conflicts and whether or not you have met prerequisites for the class(es) will be displayed in red. o There is a 20 class limit on your plan. Please remove or register in a timely manner. You are NOT registered for classes in your plan. Registration requires additional action. Page 4 of 8
What if I Do Not Meet the Prerequisites If you fail to meet the prerequisites No will show under Prereq. Met. You will not be allowed to register for the class. What if I Have Schedule Conflicts Plan my schedule is a great way to view several sections to see which ones work best. 1. After selecting classes you want to take on the Find Classes and Register screen, check the sections you think might work. Check the classes that might work with your schedule. 2. Press Submit. Class Selection Results 3. If any classes conflict with each other, those classes will be shown. 4. Select Remove from Action to remove the unwanted classes. 5. Press Submit to view your updated plan. Page 6 of 8
What if I Don t Meet the Learning Framework Requirement? Students with less than 12 college level hours are required to enroll and complete EDUC 1300. Prior to enrolling in EDUC 1300, students are required to demonstrate college-level reading skills. When you try to register a class on your plan you will receive this message if the Learning Frameworks class has not been taken and you would exceed 9 hours. What if I Don t Meet the Computer Literacy Skills Placement? Students are required to demonstrate computer literacy by either passing the Computer Literacy Skills Placement test or completing an approved course with a grade of C or better. Students are required to enroll and successfully complete an approved computer literacy course in the second semester of enrollment if they have not demonstrated computer literacy skills. When you try to register a class on your plan you will receive this message if the Computer Literacy skills requirement has not been met. Page 7 of 8
Remove Classes from My Plan Select Remove in the pull-down 1. Select Remove in the pull-down menu next to the class(es) you wish to remove. 2. Press Submit. Print My Plan You can print your plan to review or take to a location to register. Press Print my plan from the Plan my Schedule window.
