Welcome Xerox Learning & Development is committed to providing the highest quality training and support possible. Contained within this booklet, you will find answers to a number of questions you may have concerning your scheduled training. You will find tips on what to wear, what to bring, details on transportation to and from the hotel, and more. Any unanswered questions will be clarified at the beginning of your class. Your success is our success. Please feel free to share with your instructors any comments or suggestions that you might have to enhance the learning environment as you go through each course. Contact Information Classes will be held at the Webster Learning Center on the Xerox Webster Campus. Reservations for students will be made at the Hampton Inn in Webster unless you have been previously notified of alternative arrangements. A daily shuttle between the hotel and the Learning Center will be provided. In case of emergency, you can be reached as follows. Dress Code Appearance Acceptable dress at the Learning Center is business casual. This means you should be comfortable, but look professional. Acceptable dress includes dress shoes for both men and women. Shirts with collars and dress slacks are required for the men. Pantsuits, skirts/slacks, sweater/blouse combinations are required for the women. What to Bring Please use the following list as a guide in preparing for your stay at the Learning Center: Laptop Computer including external accessories (Mobile Print enabled) Xerox ID Badge or your Company ID (must be worn at all times in Xerox Facility/Learning Center) Cash/Credit Card Learning Center Guide (this booklet) Appropriate Clothing (See Dress Code) Medications, if required. Travel Information in this section will assist you if you are arriving by plane or by car. Automobile Travel Using the Learning Center and hotel addresses, you can get directions by going to any of the following websites: http://maps.yahoo.com, http://www.mapquest.com/maps/ Google Maps: http://www.google.com/maps A map is provided at the end of this booklet showing the locations of the hotels and the Learning Center. 2 Webster Learning Center

Once on Campus, follow the road signs to the Gil Hatch Center for Innovation. The Learning Center entrance is the marked entrance to the left of the Gil Hatch entrance in the same building. Park only in the parking lot directly in front of the Learning Center entrance in the unmarked spaces and NOT in front of the Gil Hatch entrance. Please DO NOT park in an assigned space, which is indicated by the small sign marking the spot (see example below). There is a Campus Map (Page 8) included for your reference. Air Travel The following airport serves the Webster Learning Center: Greater Rochester International Airport Rochester, NY Airport code ROC All attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and covering all expenses. Direct Employees: Direct employees will receive a customized email from Learning@Xerox approximately 21 days prior to the training event. Use this email to book your travel. All Others: Book your travel per the policy of your local office. Airport Shuttle If your confirmation email states that your reservation has been made at the Hampton Inn - Webster, at least 72 hours prior to your arrival in Rochester, contact the Hampton Inn at 585-671-2050 to arrange for shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Please include your name, arrival date, flight number and a cell phone number where you can be reached while traveling. If your flight arrives after 11:00 p.m., you will need to take a taxi to the Hampton Inn. NOTE: Failure to make a reservation will result in long wait times at the airport. Webster Learning Center 3

Hotel Reservations Guaranteed hotel reservations were made for you when you registered for your training course. There is no action required on your part. Reservations were made for check-in on the evening before the class start date. If you require other arrangements or need to cancel, please notify George.Seymour@Xerox.com, as soon as possible. If there are any problems with your room, contact the hotel management. Please let your instructor know if there are any problems when you arrive to class. Your program organizer can advise you on how your hotel expenses are handled. If your hotel is to be charged to someone else s credit card, use the Credit Card Authorization form at the end of this document. Reservations will be made for you at: Hampton Inn Rochester Webster 878 Hard Road Webster, NY 14580 Phone: 585-671-2050 Hotel to Learning Center Transportation Please be in the hotel lobby each day to meet the complimentary shuttle as it departs promptly at 7:30 a.m. for the Learning Center. It is a 10 minute trip to the Webster Learning Center so your promptness is expected. If you miss the shuttle, you will have to take a taxi and you will be responsible for any costs incurred. Upon your arrival at the Webster Learning Center, you will be greeted by your instructor who will guide you to your classroom. An afternoon pick-up will be scheduled based on course end times. 4 Webster Learning Center

Meals Breakfast A Continental breakfast buffet is served every morning in the dining area near the front desk. Please allow enough time to enjoy your breakfast and gather in the lobby for transportation to the Learning Center, which departs at 7:30 a.m. Lunch Lunch is available at the Bistro next to the Learning Center. Arrangements and special dietary considerations should be coordinated with the Xerox Site Coordinator. Learners can charge their Bistro lunch to a credit card or pay cash. Some programs will provide a voucher for the Bistro Dinner Evening meals must be purchased at dining establishments in the Rochester/Webster area. Students will need to purchase meals on their company American Express cards or other suitable method. Please check with your program organizer for directions on how to process meal expenses. As with all programs, Xerox will not reimburse for alcoholic beverages of any kind. Those should be treated as a personal expense. After Hours Emergencies In the event of an emergency: Notify your instructor or the Xerox Site Coordinator as soon as possible. Notify the hotel of your departure Notify your manager Medical Aid The local emergency system number is 911. Contact 911 for after-hours emergency medical care. For emergencies within the Learning Center, notify your instructor. A medical emergency response team will be summoned, if required. Webster Learning Center 5

Local Area Hospital: Strong Memorial Hospital 601 Elmwood Ave Rochester, NY 14642 Non-Urgent Care Facility: Extended Medical 81 Ridge Road Webster, NY 14580 585-671-4660 Facilities Hours of Operation The normal workday begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM. During orientation on the first day of class, the instructor will communicate break, lunch and any changes to the standard class schedules. Everyone is expected to be in class on time every day. If you are going to be unavoidably late, call the Learning Center. Security Your Xerox identification badge must be worn at all times in all Xerox facilities. If you do not have your badge, a temporary badge will be provided - please contact the Site Coordinator. On the first day of class, the shuttle will drop you off at the entrance to the Learning Center where you will be met by the Learning Center Staff. You will pass through building security at that time and receive proper authorization to get into the training facility for your entire class length. If the learner is driving themselves to the training facility, you must meet your class at the Building 209 entrance. If you are late, enter at the Gil Hatch entrance to have the Xerox Site Coordinator called. Please practice proper security with regard to documentation, keeping in mind that it is Xerox private data. Be aware that non-xerox visitors may be on site. An access card will be provided to students to gain access to and from the Learning Center for the extent of your class. You must return the access card to your instructor on the last day of class. 6 Webster Learning Center

Smoking Policy Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the training facility. This restriction is in compliance with Xerox policy effective April 1, 1993, prohibiting smoking in any Xerox facility. This includes your hotel room. There is a designated smoking area outside the main entrance. Illegal Drugs In accordance with the Xerox Alcohol and Drug Misuse Policy, illegal substances are strictly forbidden at the Learning Center. Departure from the Learning Center to the airport At the conclusion of training, ground transportation will be provided to the Rochester airport from the Learning Center. Learners should check out of the hotel on the final morning of class and bring luggage to the last day of training. The Xerox Site Coordinator will make arrangements for the shuttle service based on learners travel itineraries. Webster Learning Center 7
