FYI Coming Events Refreshment Sign-up Other News Bill Loy Born in Ohio Californian since 1954 Army Veteran Graduate of UCSD, BA s in Biochemistry and American Literature 28 years in RO-related industry Regular meetings are held on the 2 nd Thursday of the month. Regular meetings include: Plant Judging 7:15pm Meeting 7:30pm Speaker 7:45pm Refreshments & Judging Results 8:45pm 12 years at Andy s Orchids Hobby grower, have about 1000 plants, mostly epiphytic species, hot house and outdoors Important Dates: Goobler s Orchid Show sponsored by our Society. Oct 6 7 Saturday through Sunday. Set up on Friday October 5 from 1 to 4:30 pm. This is an AOS show so bring your best blooming plants to be AOS judged and all other plants will be ribbon judged. We need all the plants we can get. Floral designs are also welcome. Let us know ahead of time if you plan to enter a design. All plants and designs must be removed by 4:00 pm as the place closes and locks the doors by 4:30 pm. We do not have enough plants to enter the Huntington show. You can still volunteer to help and it is greatly appreciated.
