TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT FOR QUALIFICATIONS Payment Methods The following policy relates to qualification enrolments run by SMCS: Payments are to be made using direct debit and must be organized prior to the commencement of the course. SMCS does not accept cash, cheques or credit cards. If a default occurs on any payments, an administration fee may be charged. Any incomplete payments for the term may mean exclusion from entry into the next subject. Withdrawals and Refunds If courses are deferred or cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, applicants will be refunded any fees paid in full. Students who have commenced a recognition process (i.e. evidence submitted) and then withdraw prior to commencement of face-to-face subjects will be charged the recognition fee for the subject/s and then refunded any additional fees paid, less an administration fee of $25.00. Once a subject/module has commenced and passed the census date (generally three weeks) payment must be completed and is non-refundable. Therefore the direct debit must continue until completion of the payment. Intentions to defer or withdraw must be made in writing and addressed to the Training Manager. Re-Enrolling In the case of deferral of all subjects, the student will be charged the fee structure in place at the time of re-enrolling. Proof of Identity You must provide a certified copy of one of the following documents as proof of identity: Drivers licence or RTA photo ID card Birth certificate Passport Changes to Course Details by SMCS With reasonable cause, SMCS reserves the right to adjust the content of the course in order to ensure that your training reflects the most recent and highly regarded practices in the industry. All changes are made in accordance within our RTO registration guidelines. Feedback and Grievance Policy SMCS welcomes feedback and provides all participants with the information and opportunity to do so. Evaluations are provided to all students at the end of each module, giving students the opportunity to share any thoughts or suggestions they may have, alternatively please send your feedback directly to the Training Manager. If you have a complaint or grievance about your training and/or assessment with SMCS we encourage you to contact the Training Manager.
