A reminder if you did not receive a form or have lost your form please see me ASAP. Children s Liturgy Children s liturgy is held at 9.15am Mass every Sunday at Holy Spirit Church. Children leave the Mass after the introductory rite and proceed to the hall looking at the Gospel of the day with adult helpers and usually participate in some sort of activity. The children return to the Mass at the offertory procession after which they return to their parents. Children from Stella Maris already participate and we welcome other children to be a part of this group. Plenary Council 2020 In October 2020 Adelaide will host the Plenary Council. The last time the Catholic Church in Australia held a Plenary Council was in 1937. It has been more than 80 years since we gathered all of the Church together and much has changed. In 2020, we will have a Plenary Council about the future of the Catholic Church in Australia. What are we called to do? Who are we called to be? How do we need to change? You will be hearing more about this significant event in the Church and if you would like to know more about how you can be involved the website is: https://plenarycouncil.catholic.org.au Swimming Programme WATER AND SAFETY PROGRAMME Week 7 (26 30 November) Class 1JB 1MK RHK RMT RSK 3AF 3/2JS 2WO Departing School 9.00am 10am 11am Lesson Time 9.30am-10:30am 10.30am 11.30am 11:30am 12:30pm Reception to year 3 students Students are asked to bring their bathers a towel and swimming goggles if you have a pair to school in a labelled plastic bag. We encourage you to check in with your friends and speak with your children about what it means to be mentally healthy. Sport News Dear parents/students, Thank you very much for your continued efforts to support sport at Stella Maris in 2018. As there is only one term left of sport, it is now time to make sure that you have returned all playing tops that you have worn throughout the various sports this year. We still have several soccer/football tops that need to be returned along with numerous mini ball singlets. If you have signed up to play mini ball this term then you will not need to return your mini ball singlet until the last week of school this term. All tops that are not being used for Sport at Stella Maris this term can be returned to the Office or directly to me. The Sport Assembly will be held in the Church at 2pm on Thursday, 22 November.
