Walk-in days: Any working day subject to confirmation. Validity: 6 months from the date of advertisement. Air India Engineering Services Ltd., (AIESL) for B737-800 MRO at Trivandrum and B777 MRO at Nagpur will engage (on FTE basis) Indian Nationals fulfilling requirements specified hereunder, as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for Trivandrum / Nagpur and various Line stations of AIESL, depending upon the requirement of AIESL and to maintain a waitlist. The recruitment will be on a fixed term employment for a period of five years subject to extension for further period based on Company s requirement for servicing, inspection, certification and other related Engineering activities on B737-800NG aircraft fitted with CFM56 Engines and B777-200LR/300ER series aircraft fitted with GE-90 engines. Empanelment of candidates does not guarantee that they would be offered engagement. The offer of engagement would be given once it is decided by AIESL for releasing the candidates from the empanelled list. 1. No. of vacancies and qualifications for AMEs: a) Professional Qualification: i) CAR 66 CAT B1/B2 licence on B737-700/800/900 aircraft fitted with CFM56 engine. ii) CAR 66 CAT B1 licence on B777-200LR/300ER series aircraft fitted with GE-90 engine. iii) Minimum one year maintenance experience as a certifying support staff with CAR 145 approved organization on B737-800/ CFM56 and B777-200LR/300ER fitted with GE-90 iv) However, both qualified may also apply. b) Minimum Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Indian Board/ University or equivalent from a Foreign University. c) Number of vacancies: i) For TRIVANDRUM-MRO, B1 AMEs - 35 (B737-700/800/900 aircraft fitted with B2- AMEs - 29 CFM56 engine) Ii) For NAGPUR MRO, B1 AMEs- 06 (B777-200LR/300ER series aircraft fitted with GE- 90 engine) d) Reservation: i) SC-10, ST-5, OBC-19, GEN-36. ii) No reservation is applicable for this post under the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995. iii) Ex Servicemen Candidates as per Govt. 2. Eligibility criteria as on 1 st JANUARY 2019 a) Qualification: As stated above, preference will be given to the candidates having working experience of at least 01 year on B737-800 aircraft and B777-200LR/300ER series aircraft as a certifying AME. Preference will also be given to those who have additional type-rating on A320/ ATR-72 whether as B1 or Cat A. b) Age Limit ( as on 1 st JANUARY 2019) : General Category Not above 55 years as on 1 st JAN 2019 OBC Not above 58 years as on 1 st JAN 2019 SC/ST Not above 60 years as on 1 st JAN 2019 Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules but not above 60 years. c) SALARY AND CAREER PROGRESSION: Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience in the range of Rs.95,000 to Rs.1,28,000 pm. 3.Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Selected candidates will be required to undergo Medical test as per the advice of company Medical Officer. The shortlisted candidates will be inducted as per vacancies subject to being found FIT in the Pre- Employment Medical Examination. Candidates will have to bear the cost of the Pre-Employment Medical Examination(s), including any additional tests if required. 4. Selection Procedure: Interested candidates are required to WALK-IN to the venue, on the date and time as mentioned in call letter along with requisite Fee of Rs.1000/- by Demand Draft and documents as indicated below. The Non-refundable application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) by means of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Air India Engineering Services Limited payable at New Delhi should not be sent along with your application but should be submitted at the time of Page 2 of 9

interview. No fees to be paid by Ex-Servicemen/ SC/ST candidates. Please mention your full name and the post applied for on the reverse of the Demand Draft. b) A recent (not more than 3 months old) coloured passport size photograph of full face (front view) should be pasted neatly in the space provided in the application form. c) Self-attested copies of supportive documents in respect of: Educational qualification (i.e. SSC, HSC, 1 st year onwards upto the final year of Diploma/Graduation or higher education with mark sheets), as applicable. 1. Date of birth proof (Original School Leaving Certificate or attested photo copy duly signed by the Principal of same School/College or Gazetted Officer and SSC passing certificate). 2. With regard to experience, candidates are advised to carry experience certificate and if currently employed they should bring along with them the appointment letter and the latest pay slip as supporting document. 3. Candidates are advised to carry their LOG BOOK(S) duly signed and stamped. 4. Caste Certificate in original in the prescribed format along with self-certified photo copy in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. The application, in the prescribed format, must be submitted along with the above mentioned requisite documents. Original Certificate should not be submitted with the application, but should be brought for verification along with one set of photocopies. The Company is not responsible for returning any original or copies of certificates/testimonials submitted along with the application. Candidates who fail to produce the original testimonials for verification may not be allowed for the Selection process. d) Candidates belonging to OBC Category must submit a duly attested photocopy of Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued in current financial year in the format as prescribed by Government of India (Central Government Format for OBC certificate) and issued by the Competent Authority. The certificate, inter-alia, must specifically state that the candidate does not belong to socially advanced sections excluded from the benefits of reservation for OBC in civil posts and services under the Government of India. The Certificate should also contain the Creamy Layer Exclusion clause. The Certificate produced by the candidates of OBC community should be as per the Central List of OBCs published by the Government of India and not as per State List. e) Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertakings or autonomous bodies must walk-in with the completed application form routed through Proper Channel along with No Objection Certificate from the present employer. 6. General Conditions: a. The selected candidates would initially be positioned either in Trivandrum/Mumbai or any line stations depending upon the requirement of the Company. b. Period of Contract: Fixed Term Employment for a period of 5 years, extendable depending upon requirement of AIESL. The contract can also be terminated earlier at the discretion of the Management during the tenure of contract in the event of unsatisfactory performance. The job is transferable to any station in India. c. Emoluments: The job carries an all-inclusive package in 2 (c) above subject to tax deduction as per Government rules. d. Indemnity Bond: You will be required to submit a bond for five (5) lakh rupees. e. Consideration of SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidates will be as per Government Directives on reservation of posts. f. SC/ST candidates fulfilling the requirements and appearing for Walk-in Interview residing beyond 80 kms. from the Test Centre and not employed in any Government /Semi-Government/PSU or Autonomous Bodies will be reimbursed second class return rail/bus (surface transport only) fare by the shortest route as per rules, on production of evidence to that effect. g. Applications which are unsigned/incomplete/mutilated/received after the prescribed Walk-in date and time/not in person will be rejected. Applications sent by email/post will not be considered. h. The applicants must ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria as on 01.January.2018 and that the particulars furnished by them in the application are correct in all respects. Candidates failing to bring the relevant original and photocopy of testimonials will be disqualified. At any stage of the Selection Process, if the particulars provided by the candidate in the application or testimonials supplied are found incorrect/false or not meeting the eligibility requirements prescribed for the post, the candidature is liable to be rejected and, if appointed, services would stand terminated forthwith. i.
