Growth Groups AT CAMCC Growth Groups at CamCC offer an opportunity to meet with others for the purpose of becoming more like Jesus. A Growth Group is made up of 8-14 people who meet weekly to share life, study God s word and support one another. They are the primary way we connect, build relationships and take care of one another at CamCC. It is hard to make everyone feel at home when there are so many people. Over the years, and by God s grace, we have seen CamCC grow to the point that hundreds of people can be found on our campus on any given weekend. This can make it difficult to get to know others and to be known to feel connected.
We have put considerable energy and resources behind our Growth Group ministry. We desire a place where your needs and your name are known. Our Growth Group Ministry provides a safe place to connect and live life together. We have structured this into bite-sized commitments; each session is only 8 weeks long. It complements our Sunday services nicely by giving you the opportunity to participate in a smaller environment; one where the biblical one anothers can be practiced (love one another, carry one another s burdens, encourage one another, etc.) And, this is a great place to grow and stretch our faith. We hope you will take some time to look at the Growth Groups listed in this booklet and see which one might be a good fit for you and your family. Please remember that the first three weeks are free. This means that if for any reason you don t connect with your group within three weeks, we ask you to stop attending and then try a different group the next session. NO OBLIGATION!!! Sermon Based ALL OF OUR GROWTH GROUPS ARE SERMON-BASED These studies continue what was started on Sunday morning at CamCC. Growth Group homework will be available on our website Sunday afternoon. To download the homework, go to Camcc.net and go to the Sermons page. Once there, click on the RESOURCES button under that week s sermon. Then click on the DOWNLOAD HOMEWORK button. Homework will be in a DOC or PDF format for the greatest availability. Homework should take only about 20 minutes of time to complete. We then ask that you bring it with you to the group meeting. A discussion leader then facilitates a discussion on what you heard in the previous week s sermon. If you miss a Sunday, the sermon (via video or podcast) are posted on the same Sermons page of our website. CHURCH-PROVIDED CHILDCARE Groups that meet on Tuesday nights have the option of using the church provided childcare. With this option, kids are dropped off beforehand and picked up promptly after group meetings (Childcare hours are 6:30 to 9:00 PM) for a small fee per the fee schedule: Per eight-week quarter: 1 child - $40, 2 children - $75, 3 or more children - $100 In order to observe all legalities with regard to the number of workers, we require our families to sign up AND pay ahead of time. We are NOT able to take walk-ups. Please connect with Pastor Jim Moyer to answer any questions at the Discipleship Counter on Sundays or at jimmoyer@camcc.net.
