EVENT REPORT

UNIAGENTS ANNUAL SUMMIT continues to be India s Largest International Education Platform, Second UniAgents Annual Summit held in New Delhi, 27 th -29 th April 2018 Hosted 982 participants representing 535 organisations from 81 countries worldwide conducted 15,233 business meetings with a total footfall of 5682 students and parents seeking higher education opportunities during India s Largest and most diversified student fair. Evaluating international strategy with International Student recruitment, research collaborations, academic partnerships, student counseling, Once considered a useful add-on, internationalisation has matured into a core strategic pillar for essentially all HE Institutions aspiring to global significance. The number of students who choose to study at a university overseas has grown dramatically in recent decades. The composition of the global mobility of students has changed significantly over the last decade, shifting from a largely east-west flow to a multidirectional movement. Asia has always dominated the global mobility industry, and it responds extremely fast to changing dynamics of the sector. New Institutions along with Established Institutions continues to identify and work with leading platforms to gain and maintain their position in the market to get a fair share of students. India has particular importance in the region, and that is why UniAgents continues to conduct the Annual Summit in the capital city of the country. Students from India are increasingly choosing to study abroad, and the numbers are increasing every year with a much higher rate in comparison to China. Indian Students are also more open to explore new destinations like Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Latin America. This year Malaysia, Israel, Finland, Estonia, and Russia were highlighted due to their attractive scholarships for Indian Students. Indian students respond faster to new offerings and English being almost the first language the higher education providers find it easy to recruit from India. On the other side, Indian Institutions are actively exploring International Partnerships with ease in rules under the new Modi Government, and the domestic market is becoming extremely competitive, and a lot of changing domestic mobility trends have been observed. Moreover, India is also becoming an established destination for SAARC and African Students. After recent announcements by the Indian Government to promote India as an education destination, we expect more significant participation of Indian Institutions and government delegates during UAS - 2019. With highest in the world college-aged population, UniAgents is focused and determined to build the largest international platform (UniAgents Annual Summit) for India to allow educators from domestic and international markets to recruit the right students. The highlight of the event was UNICA mobile application for Higher Education Professionals, the CEO of the company clarified that his primary interest is to build most sophisticated technologies to enable educators and recruiters globally to perform better and increase their overall share in student mobilisation.
