Programs: Biotechnology, Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Engineering Physics (EP), and Mechanical Engineering (Mech). (Merit Based on Percentile Score in Best of JEE Main (January 2019) or JEE Main (April 2019) * OR (Merit Based on 10+2 Marks in specified Subjects*) OR (SAT Score) *subject to minimum 60% marks in three specified subjects in 10+2/equivalent examination, normalized for various boards IMPORTANT: FOUR STEPS PROCESS Step-1. Step-2. Step-3. Apply online. Candidates can opt for admission based on merit drawn on Percentile marks in JEE Main (January 2019) or JEE Main (April 2019), whichever, whichever is higher and/or (ii) percentage marks in three specified subjects of 10+2 or equivalent exam normalized for various boards or (iii) SAT score. Candidates shall be given advantage of best, in above scores. Provide actual percentile marks obtained in JEE Main (January 2019) or JEE Main (April 2019) within 5 days of declaration of results, and 10+2 or equivalent examination marks and/or SAT Score, once the results are announced, but before dates specified. Merit lists shall be announced based on: Percentile marks in paper -1 of JEE Main (January 2019). Or Percentile marks in paper -1 of JEE Main (April 2019). Or 10+2 /equivalent examination marks percentage in (specified subjects), that will be normalized amongst various school boards in India by Bennett University. Or SAT Score. In all cases: The seats shall be allotted based on choice of program filled by the candidate at application stage and merit. More than one round of merit list and admission may be held, as required. Step-4. Payment of advance fee within 10 days of admission offer and balance prior to document verification, registration and commencement of classes by 3 rd week of July 2019 (Tentative).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Please note the following carefully, before filling the application form / applying online: (f) (g) Merely filling an application form does not entitle a candidate for admission. The admission is purely merit based. The University reserves the right to cancel/revoke its offer and/or acceptance of provisional admission at any point in time; No refund of application fee is allowed in any condition, whatsoever; Candidate cannot claim the seat, merely because it is available. University Admission Committee shall decide the minimum cut offs for merit in various programs and same shall be final; Candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria as laid down in succeeding paragraphs, if he/she wishes to be considered for admission; Non- submission of application form or JEE main 2019 scores (January 2019 and/or April 2019) and/ or 10+2/equivalent scores and/or SAT scores to the University, as applicable, before due dates, shall debar a candidate from being considered for merit; The University does not admit students based on JEE central counseling by nominated agency; NRI/ International Category candidates (as defined in document below) having taken qualifying exams from boards abroad, shall be considered provided they fulfill other eligibility criteria as defined in paras 2,3,4 and 5 below;

(h) (j) All candidates shall be communicated guidelines, results and other details including offer letters through e-mail. Candidates are advised to check their SPAM or JUNK folder regularly and white-list the email id: admissions@bennett.edu.in. Please note that this is the only official mail ID of the University, for all communications related to admissions. Communications received from other mail IDs, may be advisory in nature, but cannot be quoted as official position of the University, specially w.r.t marks, eligibility, Merit and offers; Merit Scholarships are available in all programs, details of which are available on the University web site and shall also be provided in admission offer letters; Provision exists for obtaining Honors and Minor degrees, subject to doing specified additional courses as per the rules of the programs. PROGRAMS AND SEATS ON OFFER: The tentative number of seats for Academic Session 2019-20 is as given in the table below: JEE (Main- 2019) $ Marks of 10+2# Biotechnology(Bio) @ - Yes Yes 20 Computer Science Engineering (CSE) Yes Yes Yes 300 Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) Yes Yes Yes 60 Engineering Physics (EP) Yes Yes Yes 20 Mechanical Engineering (Mech) Yes Yes Yes 40 SAT Total ## Total 440$# $ The number of seats under JEE, 10+2 and SAT -based admissions, may be varied, interchanged, and added after approval from statutory authority of the University depending upon academic profile of the candidates. # 25% seats shall be available under this category, subject to candidates meeting the minimum cut off marks, decided by admission committee of the University. $# In case the seats remain unfilled in one category, such seats shall be available for admission in other categories. # # includes SC/ST, General category and 2 seats for Kashmiri Migrants; Additional 15% supernumerary seats are available for NRI/International category students. @ Admission to Biotechnology program shall be taken based on merit of percentage of marks in 10+2/equivalent examination and/or SAT score only, as per subjects specified below. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: COMMON TO ALL PROGRAMS. 1. Criteria of Number of subjects in 10+2 Exams. 10+2 or its equivalent examination must be passed with minimum 5 subjects (equivalence as defined by JEE Board). Candidates with 4 subjects in 10+2 class are not eligible. 2. Criteria of Minimum Educational Qualification and Year of Passing. The 10+2 examination must be passed in years 2017 or 2018 or 2019. All candidates must produce the original copies of results latest by 14 Aug 2019. 3. Criteria of Subjects and Marks in 10+2 Exams. For B.Tech. Programs other than Biotechnology (Bio). The candidate must obtain minimum of 60% aggregate marks in three subjects to include: Physics, and Mathematics (Compulsory) and, (ii) One subject amongst Biology, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Electronics, Engineering Graphics/Drawing, Informatics Practice, Multimedia and Web Technologies, Information Technology, Statistics; For B.Tech. Program in Biotechnology (Bio). The candidate must obtain minimum of 60% aggregate marks in three subjects to include:

Physics, and Biology/Biotechnology (Compulsory) and (ii) One subject amongst Agriculture science and technology, Biology/Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Electronics, Engineering Graphics/Drawing, Informatics Practice, Multimedia and Web Technologies, Information Technology, Statistics and Mathematics; Candidates who are offered provisional admission based on declared scores in the application, will be required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination i.e. (10+2 or equivalent) to the University authorities, during document inspection at the time of registration (tentative - 3 rd week of July), failing which, such provisional admission will stand withdrawn. It shall be responsibility of the candidates to bring out variations in the scores/marks recorded in the admission offer letter and actual marks obtained in qualifying/eligibility examination, before accepting the offer. Any deviations detected even at a later stage after registration, shall render the offer of admission or admission itself, as invalid. If the results of 10+2 examinations are likely to be delayed beyond the date of registration (tentatively - 3 rd week of July), such candidates are advised to seek admission next year. No representations for extension of dates for verification of documents shall be entertained. Any wrong declaration of marks /scores in the application, which affects the merit/provide undue advantage, if detected even after registration, shall lead to disqualification of the candidate and withdrawal of admission or scholarship, as the case may be. 4. Criteria for Date of Birth Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October 1998 (Date of Birth as recorded in the High School/Secondary Education Board/University Certificate only will be taken as authentic) are only eligible to apply for admission. 5. Eligibility conditions for IB/Cambridge qualified Candidates. (All candidates shall be required to obtain the 10+2 equivalence certificate from AIU before 14 Aug 2019). Failure to do so may lead to cancellation of admission. For IB Board (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) Student should have secured a minimum of 26 points/credits. Student should have passed minimum of three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL). Mathematics and Physics are mandatory subjects for B. Tech, other than Bio program, and same should have been passed at Higher Level (HL) only. Physics and Biology/Biotechnology are mandatory subjects for B.Tech in Bio program and same should have been passed at Higher Level (HL) only. Should have completed DP core, comprising theory of knowledge (TOK), creativity, activity, service (CAS) and the extended essay(ee). Students provided provisional admission based on predicted scores received from counsellors, shall be allowed to register only after providing regular Diploma mark sheet. For Cambridge International Examinations (IGCSE) (ii) (iii) Percentage Uniform Marks shall be allotted equal weightage as 10+2 from CBSE. Candidates should obtain 60% aggregate in three subjects as listed in Para 3 above, except that the third subject can be any one of rest taken by the candidate in IGCSE board. Candidates should have passed minimum 5 subjects at O level including English, and minimum 2 subjects at A level. This is a mandatory requirement to obtain equivalence certificate from AIU.

(iv) (v) Mathematics and Physics are mandatory subjects for B.Tech. Programs other than Biotech and should be at A Level. The third subject may be selected by the candidate as per his/her choice Physics and Biotech/Biology are mandatory subjects for Biotech program and should be at A Level. The third subject may be selected by the candidate as per his/her choice 6. Conditions to be eligible for NRI/International Students Quota NRI/PIO/OCI (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) PIO (Person of Indian Origin). A person who or whose any of ancestors were Indian national and who is presently holding another country s citizenship/ nationality i.e. he/she is holding foreign passport. OCI (Overseas Citizen of India). A person registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder under section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955. NRI shall be a student, whose mother or father, first degree relation including the real brother and sister or grandparents both paternal and maternal are NRIs. This quota may also be availed by wards of NRI persons, who should be the nearest relation to include real brother and sister of father and mother i.e. real uncle and real aunt, first degree-paternal and maternal cousins. However, such persons, who have looked after such student as the guardian, need to produce an evidence to the effect, along with an affidavit signed by authorities in country where such person is residing. NRI, in this context shall imply an Indian Citizen who stays abroad for employment/carrying on business or vocation outside India or stays abroad under circumstances indicating an intention for an uncertain duration of stay abroad. International Student All students who are foreign country pass port holders and have passed their 10+2 exams from a foreign board. 7. Routes to Admission: Candidates who fulfill the eligibility as above, shall be required to have one of the following routes for admissions, which are explained subsequently, in the document JEE Main 2019 marks merit (January 2019 and/ or April 2019) and/or. 10+2 Exams/ IB/Cambridge or equivalent exams scores merit and/or. SAT scores. 8. General Instructions on conditions of Eligibility Candidates must produce certificate of proof of the above conditions at the time of registration (tentative - 3 rd week of July 2019) for the respective program failing which, they will be disqualified, and provisional admission shall be cancelled. Admission granted and scholarship offered to a student may be revoked for noncompliance/not meeting the admission criteria/ being found ineligible, even if same is detected at a later date. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/ documents of the candidates. The decision of the Admission Committee of the University regarding the eligibility of any applicant shall be final. APPLICATION PROCESS 9. How to obtain and Fill the Application Form: The students may fill the application forms on line using net banking/credit/debit card at https://applications.bennett.edu.in. There is no separate on-line application form for the NRI/International student s. However, students shall be provided an option to be considered under NRI category and which shall then lead to downloading of a sponsorship letter, which must be filled and sent to the University, to enable application being considered 10. Cost of Form: Rs 1000/-(can be paid online or through Demand Draft)

11. Where to send. The completed Application Form, (only when hard copy purchased), must be sent to the following address: Admission Section Bennett University Office, Plot No s 8-11, Tech Zone II, Near Dabra Village. Greater Noida- 201310, Uttar Pradesh, India. 12. Important to note before submission of Application Form. The candidates must go through and accept the undertaking terms and condition at start of on-line application form, and ensure to read the admission procedure document carefully, on the web site before applying for admission. Application Status: Candidates applying shall receive a unique Application No and an e- mail acknowledging the receipt, along with further guidelines. Candidates shall receive few reminder mails, if required, and thus must view the mails from the University and comply with guidelines. Candidates are also advised to keep a downloaded copy of Application Form. All issues regarding application form, marks or data filled there in, must be resolved by the candidate with admission section of the University, before declaration of merit. No appeals thereafter are acceptable. Scanned copies of 10th, 12th standard mark sheets, along with JEE score card, SAT score card (if results have been announced) must be uploaded on the online form, while filling the marks and before submission of application. PROCESS FOR ADMISSION: 13. Submission of Application/Registration of candidature. Registration of candidature implies filling online application, providing the marks/scores and uploading of mark sheets as required : The candidate may fill the application form without waiting for the results of JEE (Main) 2019 (January 2019 or April 2019), 10+2 examination, IGCSE board results or SAT results. IB students, who fulfill the required eligibility criteria, may also fill the form of the University, based on predicted scores (provided by counselor only, directly to University at email ID admissions@bennett.edu.in, referring to program and application number). It is essential for the candidate to provide the marks of JEE-Main 2018 (January 2019 or April 2019) or 10+2/equivalent examination or SAT to the University immediately, after declaration of results. The marks may be filled online or (ii) candidate may provide score cards to the admission office before the date mentioned in table below. Non- Compliance shall be at candidate s risk and no claim can be made for consideration for merit. Candidate must fill all mandatory details and submit the final application, before being considered for merit. Further, the candidate has to produce the mark sheet of all relevant exams based on which provisional offer is made at the time of document verification during registration process (tentative - 3 rd week of July2019). MERIT LISTS, AND ADMISSION OFFERS/ALLOCATION OF SEATS 14. Eligibility for Merit Candidates, shall be considered for meriting process of respective program, only after they meet all of the following criteria: Those, who apply in the prescribed application form (online). Those, whose applications are found valid. The applications are received before the due date. Those, who fulfill the eligibility criteria,

Those who provide the JEE score, and/or 10+2 scores and/ or SAT Scores as applicable to the University, along with uploading of score sheets. The merit amongst valid applications received shall be drawn based on any one of following or best of the scores available at any given point of time to become eligible for offer/higher scholarship. Percentile scored in JEE Main Jan 2019 Percentile scored in JEE Main April 2019 10+2 or equivalent examination (based on 3 specified subjects), duly normalized for state boards). IB Boards predicted/actual scores or Percentile Uniform marks in IGCSE SAT Score 15. Out of four non Biotech programs, candidate must opt for minimum two programs compulsorily in order of priority. A candidate, who initially does not get the choice program in the first list, shall have an option of being up graded as per the merit and priority exercised in the subsequent lists. Seats in the programs shall be allotted on the basis of preferences indicated in the application form strictly in order of merit. JEE percentile score in any other category like SC/ST/ state etc. shall not be considered. The merit list for SC/ST candidates/kashmiri Migrant candidates shall be made based on the marks as per percentile and which shall be 10 % marks below the lowest marks, on which general category candidates are admitted. The wards of Defense Personnel will get a 2% relaxation in merit criteria than that followed for other candidates. Differently abled candidates shall get a 2% relaxation in merit criteria than that followed for other candidates on a case to case basis. More than one list may be announced, as required. Seats, if not filled due to applicants not meeting the minimum cut off criteria, as decided by the admission committee of the University, may be transferred to the 10+2 Exam/SAT based admission category. 16. Drawing of Merit Lists (10+2/equivalent Exam based admissions-indian Boards/IGCSE/SAT) The merit shall be drawn based on 10+2 aggregate percentage score in 3 subjects (as explained in eligibility at para 3 and 5)/SAT score, as applicable. The merit list for SC/ST candidates/kashmiri migrant candidates shall be made based on the marks which shall be 10 % marks below the lowest marks on which general category candidates are admitted. (f) (g) Candidate cannot claim the seat, merely because it is available, in case he/she does not meet the minimum cut off marks decided by the University Admission Committee for this category of seats. Seats, if not filled due to applicants not meeting the minimum cut off criteria, may be transferred to the JEE based admission category. 17. Drawing of Merit Lists- IB candidates. IB candidates, who may take JEE Examinations/SAT, shall be merited as per procedure explained in 15 / 16 above for JEE candidates/sat respectively. Those candidates, who have not taken JEE examinations; the merit shall be drawn based on IB points, subject to minimum of 26 Points besides completing other diploma requirements and obtaining grades in subjects of 10+2, as explained in eligibility as para 3 and 5 above. 18. NRI/ International Category. Candidates wishing to take admission under this category must meet the definition as given Para 6 above. The candidates opting for this mode of admission are also required to provide sponsorship letter and equivalence certificate of marks from foreign board, from AIU. Merit shall be drawn based on 10+2 equivalent score /JEE-Main 2019/SAT as per procedure explained above, subject to fulfilling other eligibility criteria as indicated in Para 3 above for Indian board students and Para 5 for IB/IGCSE candidates. 19.
