MENTONE MESSENGER FROGMORE CAMPUS NEWS CAMERON LANCASTER HEAD OF FROGMORE ISSUE NO 28 - TERM 4 23 NOVEMBER 2018 Frogmore students have concluded their Semester 2 Examinations and I commend our students for the manner in which they have undertaken these end of year assessments. In addition to providing students with an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned throughout the second semester, these exams also provided our students with further opportunities to practise and develop those study habits and routines that will serve them well when the time comes to complete their Year 12 VCE Exams next year or in 2020. Please note that there are no scheduled classes on Monday 26 November or Tuesday 27 November. Frogmore students will undertake a Transition Day on Wednesday 28 November in preparation for our 2019 Changeover commencing on Thursday 29 November. SUBJECT CHANGES The completion of exams is often a time where students review their progress and establish new gaols for the year ahead. It is also a time where some students reflect on their subject choices and look to make a change. If students are looking to make a change in their subject selections for 2019 they must complete the Change of Subject Form prior to the end of the day on Wednesday 12 December: To access the form, students will need to login to the LMS, access their news feed and select the Change of Subject Form link listed in the notification (as shown below). Subject change requests will then be processed as quickly as possible. We would ask that students ensure they have spoken with relevant staff, including subject teachers and our Careers Counsellors, regarding any proposed subject change as there may be ramifications regarding future pathways, including requirements for entry into tertiary study. Please also note that while we will endeavour to approve changes for students there will be circumstances in which changes are not possible into preferred subjects due to current class sizes or timetable constraints.

Should there be any questions or queries regarding this process or possible subject changes then please contact our Teaching and Learning Office to discuss.
