HISTORICAL SKETCH Dr. Robert L. Folk was born on August 22 nd in 1935. Folk began his employment at Ohio State in 1963. Beginning as an assistant, he worked his way up from Assistant Professor, to Clinical Medical Director and Assistant Dean. He resigned in 1976. SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE The Robert L. Folk, MD Collection (approximately 4.5 linear feet) contains information on the Health Sciences Library in its early years; specifically information on a variety of presidents, deans, and other faculty from a variety of administrations at the Ohio State University. There is also a large focus on Medical Center Expansions programs. 1
