Officer description: Oversee the MGC, run Executive Board and Delegate Meetings, weekly 1:1 meetings with advisor, monthly president meetings with other councils, monthly President s Forum Meetings, press representative, works closely with other positions and advisor b. Scholarship OWS on October 24th, 7pm in LSC 324 ii. Officer description: This role involves maintaining contact with each chapter s scholarship/academic officer in order to assess and guide the academic progress of MGC organizations. Along with the PHA and IFC council officers, this person helps organize and facilitate the Scholarship Officer workshop series. The time commitment involves weekly executive board and delegate meetings, as well as biweekly meetings with the MGC advisor. This person typically also meets with MGC chapters throughout the semester and participates in monthly OWS events. d. Vice President of Judicial Affairs (Sofia DeBenedittis, mgccsu.judicialaffairs@gmail.com ) e. Vice President of Risk Reduction (Tatjana Clark, mgccsu.riskmanagement@gmail.com ) i. Risk OWS this Thursday at 6pm in LSC 324 1. Council Caucasing: Event registrations and Safe Practices ii. Officer Description: My role involves overseeing the risk management for all of MGC. I mainly check and confirm event
registrations while also serving as the voice for our community for aspects of risk. I have 3 meetings weekly and 5 biweekly. Though this sounds like a lot, most of the meetings never exceed an hour. f. Vice President of Council Development ( Santanna Pacheco, mgccsudevelopment@gmail.com) i. New Member Mingle 1. Nov. 7th 5pm-7pm 2. LSC Theater ii. CS/P OWS Oct. 17 6pm LSC 324 iii. NME OWS Oct. 25 5pm LSC 312 iv. Officer Description: Responsible for attending NME, CS/P, and Programming Board meetings. Lead OWS for NME and CS/P. Serve as an FSL Ambassador and MGC Liason. Coordinate community development events. Work closely with Council Events. g. Vice President of Council Events (Marvin Enriquez, mgccsuevents@gmail.com) h. Vice President of Public Relations (Erica Howe, mgccsupublicrelations@gmail.com ) i. Vice President of Public Relations is responsible for managing all of the social media accounts for MGC as well as help run the external relations officer workshop series. Some other duties that this position holds are: working closing with its IFC and PHA counterparts, ordering FSL swag (the FSL stickers, chapstick, sunglasses etc.), as well as working with the FSL professional staff and counterparts to help create the FSL booklets. and their first semester at CSU. TTLs help transfer students develop academic effectiveness, peer relationships, and personal adjustment to CSU through small and large group discussions, individualized outreach, presentations during Ram Orientation for Transfer Students and Transfer Ram Welcome, and staffing Transfer Programs @ CSU events during the fall semester.
