Review the recommendations from each group (New York, France, Mexico, India and the North American Sites) 4. Prepare questions and comments on each set of recommendations from the various sites for the videoconference on Friday, 3 December. 5:00 5:30 pm New York: Voting to select three moderators for the final day and a student to make closing remarks [Other videoconference groups are asked to identify a student to present their recommendations during the videoconference and another student to make closing remarks.] * Guidelines will be prepared to provide guidance to teachers and students on the final recommendations that the participating groups are being asked to produce during the course of the second day of the conference. FRIDAY, 3 DECEMBER 2010 PROGRAMME Videoconference at United Nations Headquarters Webcast by UN Television & Web Services Section from 8:30AM - 4:00PM (EST) 8:30 am Arrival at United Nations 8:45 am Videoconference sites link with UN Headquarters

9:00 9:05 am Opening Remarks by Chairperson: UNSCHR Moderator 1 Introduction of the Panel of Experts in New York 9:05 9:15 am UN Experts Each site presents recommendations. This session should be very interactive, with questions and comments from all sites: France; Mexico City; India; UN Headquarters; Other 9:15 12:00 noon UNSCHR Moderator 2 Panel of Experts to comment on recommendations from each site General discussion and comments from all sites 12:00 noon [French and Indian sites will make closing remarks and depart from the videoconference. The far sites will do a debriefing and post their comments on the conference discussion forum] 12:00 1:00 pm Lunch 1:00 1:30 pm Sites are given time to review comments from the Panel of Experts and revise recommendations Videoconference resumes 1:30 3:00 pm Chairperson: UNSCHR Moderator 3 Additional comments from all sites Mexico City; and UN Headquarters Closing remarks from remaining conference sites by students 3:00 3:30 pm Mexico City; UN Headquarters Close of videoconference 3:30 4:00 pm Debriefing at all sites on lessons learnt during the conference (teachers and students).
