Budget News Another good budget proposed for next year, but still challenging because so much is special funds Equity and success $ continued $500 million for adult education $200 million for CTE Current COLA projection 1.47% NEW - $150 million for Pathways $20 million for innovation Remember not final until July 1

1 st Focus: Enrollment ENROLLMENT UPDATE Goal for 2016-17 is 7274 FTES minimum and up to 7346 FTES to capture growth Latest report shows we have a good chance to hit 7274 and maybe a little more. It will depend upon this summer s enrollment numbers.

2 nd Focus: Accreditation Our visit is October 2-5, 2017 mark your calendars now! Will Breitbach is holding 2 forums: March 28 & 31 1 st full draft of report is nearly ready be sure to take time to give feedback

Just a sampling of the new & exciting things include Our bond passed! $139 million for facilities improvements. Very good planning going on for this watch for opportunities to get involved as time passes. Selected for the Promise grant nearly $750,000 over three years Partnering with McConnell Foundation and Shasta College Foundation (as the fiscal agent) on North State Together initiative. $2.5 million over three years

IEPI Grant (Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative) Working on an initiative with the Key Change Institute to help guide us to making institutional change to better ourselves for our students and our communities.
