WHAT DO THEY NEED? Matriculation of Students of Color at Predominantly White Institutions Intolerance and exclusion are too often the experience of students of color- even on a campus that is ethnically and racially diverse. Consequently, voices of students of color are often not heard at some college and universities. Therefore, it is up to student support services and professionals to be those voices.
