Report : Environment Awareness Campaign at Level in There are many environmental issues like Climate Change, Global Warming, air pollution, water pollution, garbage disposal, and pollution of natural environment are all challenges for us. We are progressing at a rapid rate in addressing environmental issues and improving the environmental quality, but still, we have a long way to go. Pollution remains a major challenge for us. Aim of school level Environmental Awareness Campaign The aim of the Campaign at schools of District was to develop proper understanding of the main facts, concepts, principles and processes of Climate Change and Environment. Awareness and Understanding on Environmental issues is an essential part of students learning. It helps to encourage awareness about climate change & environment, leading to informed concern for active participation in resolving environmental problems. If subjects and thoughts about climate change & Environmental issues are introduced to school students right from their childhood, the right attitude towards environment will be nurtured in the young minds. So we used this opportunity to develop knowledge, understanding and concern for the environment & Climate Change through school campaigns. Several orientation sessions were conducted with school students on various aspects of Climate Change. Objectives of the program To sensitize and increase awareness among the students on climate change & environmental issues. Active participation of students to protect the environment and the prudent and rational use of natural resources. Encourage students to examine and interpret the environment from a variety of perspectives such as physical, geographical, biological, sociological, economic, political, technological, and historical. To realize the Human Efforts on environmental issues. The way in which each student can, by his/her own behaviours and actions, contribute to the protection of environment. 1 P a g e
