ABOUT ALARC: "A century of dedicated and continuous service to the Bench and the Bar of India and many Commonwealth Countries" - this can be the shortest and easiest summation of the journey of AIR. Reporting judgments on various topics and branches of law and quality editorial thereon unfailingly since 1914, from more than 50 High Courts (many of them have since been merged, or no longer part of India, after Independence), the Privy Council, Federal Court, and now the Supreme Court of India, no other single law journal in the world can claim such a vast coverage from across the length and breadth of a sub-continent. All India Reporter is perhaps one of the first law journals in India. AIR, which has been the most preferable choice of Advocates all over India for a century now, is an extensive collection of case laws from the Supreme Court of India and all High Courts of different States of India. The cases reported in AIR are not only landmark judgments, but we strive to report as many cases as possible, so that no aspect of law remains untouched and an Advocate would not be required to refer to multiple publications to find precedents to support their case.
