Acceptance of Budget Vote and Election Results 2.1 WHEREAS, the Annual Meeting and Election of the voters of the District was held on May 21, 2013; and WHEREAS, the District Clerk recorded the result of each ballot as declared by the Chairman pursuant to Section 2034 of the Education Law; and WHEREAS, the Board of Education has received from the District Clerk the results of the Annual Meeting and Election held on May 21, 2013; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education accepts the results of the Annual Meeting and Election ballots as set forth in the District Clerk s report and declares same to be the official results of the vote. 3. Adoption of Textbooks 3.1 RESOLVED: that the Board of Education approves the adoption of the psychology textbook, Myers Psychology for AP, published by Worth Publishers/BFW to be implemented in the AP Psychology course as per attached. 3.2 RESOLVED: that the Board of Education approves the adoption of the economics textbook, Principles of Economics, A Foundation for Understanding the Economy, 3 rd Edition, published by Pearson, 2012 to be implemented in the SUPA Economics class as per attached.
