The IND is working to adjust its system to remove this discrepancy. Considering the limited size of the discrepancy and to ensure consistency between reports, this report will continue to use the data recorded in the computerized reporting system. The analysis showed that, notwithstanding these figures, the total influx of first asylum applications in 216 was 18,246.
