(The Doors of the Counselling Hall of each department shall close at 1.00 P.M. sharp.) VENUE: MAHARAJA BIR BIKRAM AUDITORIUM Tripura University, Suryamaninagar, Tripura-799022 Course Fee- Rs. 6,000/-per Semester INTAKE CAPACITY: 26 Admission will strictly be made on the basis of merit list of Tripura University Entrance Test and Govt. of India reservation policy. The students are asked to remain present in the Counselling cum Admission, failing which the candidature of the candidates shall automatically be cancelled. The total number of candidates called for counselling cum admission is 20% more than the intake capacity of the concerned programme.
The students must remain present physically in the Counselling cum - Admission procedure, failing which the candidature of the concerned students shall automatically be treated as cancelled. Candidates are requested to bring the original documents during counseling. 1) 2(two) copies of filled up Admission Form-18 (available in Tripura University website: www.tripurauniv.in) are to be submitted at the time of admission. 2) Admit card of Tripura University Entrance Test (TUET), 2018 3) Copy of online Application Form (Acknowledgement), 2018 4) All the mark sheets (ORIGINAL) and PRTC (PRTC is not applicable for the candidates of other states) 5) Category Certificates (SC/ ST / OBC/ PH) IN ORIGINAL 6) 2(two) sets of self attested copies of all documents 7) 2(two) recent coloured passport size photograph 8) Student has to submit a copy of Voter ID PROOF and AADHAR CARD (AADHAR, if issued in that area) 9) After successful counselling selected candidates will have to submit the requisite fee through online mode for admission to the 1 st Semester of the concerned programme within 3 days, failing which candidature of the selected candidate shall be cancelled. {CASH/ DEMAND DRAFT/ MONEY ORDER / CHEQUE/ BANK CHALLAN TRANSACTION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE ADMISSION PROCESS} 10) Student has to produce Anti Ragging affidavit to the Head of the Department concerned within 15(fifteen) days of commencement of the class (format available in Tripura University Website: www.tripurauniv.in) 11) A filled undertaking must be submitted to the Coordinator, Students Admission Cell for any change of discipline for the newly admitted students qualified in more than one allied subjects, with the consent of HODs concerned. A new student will be allowed to change the discipline within 15 days from the commencement of classes. 12) No accommodation and TA/DA will be provided for candidate or guardian appearing in the counselling cum admission. 13) The distribution of seats will be provided on the following ways:
i) First 50% of the total intake capacity of each department is for UR which may include the name of applicants of the reserved categories in accordance with their merit position in TUET 2018 of that programme. ii) Remaining 50% of total intake capacity is reserved for ST (31%), SC (17%), OBC (Central Non-Creamy Layer 2%) and PWD (5% in respective category). iii) 2(two) seats shall be available (supernumerary) for the students from Jammu & Kashmir. iv) 2(two) seats in each department or programme shall be available (supernumerary) for the rank holders of Tripura University (UG programme) and Tripura Board of Secondary Education or any recognized university / Board of Secondary Education on the production of necessary documents in respective programmes. 14) In case of non publication of the result of UG programme, the students in the merit lists may take provisional admission in the P. G. Courses within stipulated period provided by Tripura University. In case, provisionally admitted candidate fail to qualify in the UG final examination, his / her deposited admission fee will be returned to their respective bank accounts within 60 (sixty) days after the approval from the authority of Tripura University on the basis of submission of application by respective candidate. 15) A newly admitted student can apply for hostel facility after commencement of classes for respective programme. 16) Classes for 1 st Semester shall commence from 11 th July, 2018.
