Programme Erasmus+ Key 1 Youth Exchange PUBLIC NOTICE OF RECRUITMENT Selection of 5 participants for the Youth Exchange CYTY: Creative Youth for The CiTY 25th of September - 2th of October 2016 1. CONTENT OF THE NOTICE Five participants are requested for the Youth Exchange CYTY, organized by Rieti Municipality with the partnership of Stadt Nordhorn (Germany), Solaridités Jeunesse (France), ELIX- Conservation Volunteers (Greece), STEP- SURF THE EARTH PROJECT (Romania). The project is promoted by Italian National Agency in the frame of Erasmus+ Programme. CYTY is a project in the frame of Erasmus+ Programme, which promotes the European mobility, both as individual and as a group, through Non Formal Education, and specifically through exchange, training course, voluntary experience abroad, aiming to foster the intercultural learning and to enhance youth initiatives. The sub-action Mobility projects for young people and youth workers fosters Youth

Exchanges allowing groups of young people from different countries to meet, learn and live together for a short period. During a Youth Exchange participants jointly carry out a work programme (a mix of workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, simulations, outdoor activities, etc.) designed and prepared by them before the Exchange. Youth Exchanges allow young people to: develop competences; become aware of socially relevant topics/thematic areas; discover new cultures, habits and life-styles, mainlythroughpeer-learning; strengthenvalueslikesolidarity, democracy, friendship, etc. The learning process in Youth Exchanges is triggered by methods of non-formal education. Youth Exchanges are based on a transnational cooperation between two or more participating organisations from different countries within and outside the European Union. Specifically, CYTY (Creative Youth for the CiTY) promotes an international exchange between young people from four different European countries (5 participants per country: Italy; Germany; Greece; Romania and France) aimed at encouraging creativity in the field of artistic mural expression, with the aim to enhance the creative abilities through the expressive form called "writing "and at the same time enhancing the built heritage of the city. Thus CYTY intends to focus the debate on the theme of creativity as a tool for urban regeneration, of social glue, and push for the development of citizenship and international cooperation. At the same time, the proposed project aims to stimulate the interest of young people towards the issues of the creative, cultural and audiovisual, stimulating entrepreneurship and facilitating their entry into the world of work. Activities, guided by the method of informal and non-formal, will be held in Rieti from September 25th 2016 till October 2th 2016, and will mainly consist of art-lab, workshops, and practical sessions of "learning by doing", coordinated by youth workers and supported by young local experts of street art. They will have as a final output an artistic design (graffiti) on a wall located in an area of the city subject to redevelopment. This will put the young in the center of a concrete process of urban enhancement. Participants will be selected by each member of the partnership between young people aged between 18 and 30 years based on their skills, their personal motivations, and attitudes creative. Among them will be chosen even young people who have left the path of education prematurely. Each partner will have a clearly defined role in order to ensure quality of mobility experience, aimed at achieving several specific objectives at the level of direct beneficiaries: - More effective communication both in the mother tongue and in a foreign language; - Promotion of the personal and cultural growth of the participants; - Knowledge of new job opportunities to promote employment and active European citizenship; - Promote the exchange of ideas and a better knowledge of different cultures, thus promoting social cohesion.

To encourage the dissemination of project results will be implemented a "dissemination and exploitation plan" that provides, among other things, the creation of a video-tale on the composition of the work of street art and dissemination of material through several media. At the end of the experience, the host partner will release participants a certification of skills acquired (Youthpass) spendable in the working world as additional title recognized at European level. This plan will also provide a follow up of the project: among other things, in the final event of the week the coordinator will arrange a session of debate to exchange ideas about the prosecution of the project. 2. ADMISSION REQUIREMENT The current notice is addressed to the selection of 5 young people (4 plus one team leader representative of partner s association) with residence in each partner s country. Participants admission requirement: Legal residence in one of the Country Programme; Ability to work in english; Age between 18 and 30 3.
