Expert advice Across all areas and phases of education Tribal have a wide range of highly qualified education specialists with current expertise. Peter Callow Peter Callow has been a headteacher of three schools, local authority adviser and school improvement leader, inspector and consultant leader for the National College for Teaching and Leadership. He is particularly experienced in leading monitoring and evaluation services across a variety of educational settings. Jan Daines Jan Daines is our leading expert in special education, having held several senior leadership roles, most recently in a residential, non-maintained special school. He has specific expertise in curriculum innovation in special and mainstream secondary education. Roger Gilbert Roger Gilbert is experienced across both secondary and primary educational improvement, having been a Principal for a number of schools, including an all-through 3-19 academy. He is an advisor for the DfE within a Regional Schools Commissioner s office and has also acted as chair of a local secondary heads association. Bob Hooper Bob Hooper has held senior positions in a local authority and DfE, been a school inspector and also a teacher trainer. Carol Jones OBE Carol Jones has been a headteacher of an inner city school, a school inspector, school improvement partner and local authority assistant director. She is currently working with a range of schools in England and Wales, advising and challenging them to improve outcomes. Jeni Ling Following a successful primary headship, Jeni Ling has worked in a number of advisory and school improvement roles in local authorities and at the National College for Teaching and Leadership. She is a skilled facilitator and has specific expertise in developing and delivering leadership programmes, and coaching and mentoring. Nicola Morris Nicola Morris is a specialist in early years and primary phases, having held several primary headships. She has developed professional learning for a large international schools group, quality assured schools both in the UK and internationally and supported others through challenging circumstances. Nadine Powrie Nadine Powrie has extensive experience of school improvement, change management and school leadership, including two secondary headships. Her particular areas of expertise are in school leadership, coaching, governance and school self-evaluation. She is a qualified executive and organisational coach and has sat on several AQA committees. Ian Purnell Ian Purnell is an experienced primary headteacher, with particular specialism in leading improving schools and supporting primary schools through major capital construction projects. He has worked with a local authority for seven years, supporting schools, academies and trusts through an ambitious programme of school expansion.
