Go on exchange! Going on exchange provides you with a unique opportunity to travel and study overseas with the support of a worlwide network of YFU Student Exchange organisations, a volunteer host family, a school and its community and local support people. YFU Student Exchange offers programs from 2 months to 12 months duration for students from over 50 countries around the world to be able to experience another culture, immerse themselves in another language and gain real insights to peoples lives and approaches to learning in other cultures. Exchange can open your eyes to different possibilities for further study or for future employment as well as giving you a unique experience that you cannot have at any other time in your life with memories and new friends that last a lifetime. Secondary Program If you are between 15 and 19 years old, you can choose a destination from the Secondary Program to start your adventure. YFU offers students a variety of academic based programs including long term programs (year and semester length) as well as short programs (2 or 3 months school or tourism based) and specialised programs (art, sports, fashion, tourism, etc.). ECUADOR / August 26 weeks Ecuador is full of fascinating culture and history, from the islands where Darwin discovered evolution to the ancient Incan civilization. With this project you can work in day care centers whith low-income children in the city of Quito, carrying out activities of care, recreation and support in school activities, under the supervision of local staff.
