Direct School Admission (DSA-Sec) Exercise For Admission To Sec One In 2015
DSA-Sec Exercise was introduced in 2004. The DSA-Sec Exercise was conceptualised to promote holistic education. Participating secondary schools have the autonomy to decide who to admit via DSA Exercise.
Steps in the DSA-Sec Exercise *June August Stage 1: Selection Stage *October Stage 2: Exercise School Preference Stage *November Stage 3: Results Release Stage *Tentative Dates Application! Check with school of interest for application procedures Selection by Sec School! Shortlisted student goes for selection tests/ interviews at the DSA Sec School Selection Outcome! Student receives outcome of application from DSA Sec School applied to, by Aug School Preference Indication! Student may submit preference up to 3 DSA Sec Schools Results! Successful applicant collects DSA application result together with PSLE results! Unsuccessful applicants in DSA to participate in Sec 1 Posting Exercise

Unsuccessful DSA students will be issued with a S1 Option Form, informing them that their DSA application were unsuccessful. They have to submit their school choices during the S1 Option period to participate in the S1 Posting Exercise.
