Action Items A. Review and Approval of Minutes 1. It is recommended that the Board of School Directors approve the November 17, 2014 Minutes of the Regular Meeting and the December 1, 2014 Minutes of the Reorganization Meeting of the Board of School Directors.* B. Finance 1. It is recommended that the Board of School Directors adopt a resolution which indicates that the Board of School Directors will not increase the rate of any tax levied for the support of its public schools for the 2015-2016 fiscal year by more than the rate of the Index of 1.9 percent. * 2. It is recommended that the Board of School Directors accept the Auditors Report for the year ended June 30, 2014. * 3. It is recommended that the Board of School Directors approve the Treasurer s Report and the Financial Report for October, 2014.* 4. It is recommended that the Board of School Directors approve a Memorandum of Understanding with the Local 180 PSEA/NEA relative to allowing a retiring Instructional Assistant to receive her service increments.* D. Policy & Program 1. It is recommended that the Board of School Directors approve and accept a third generous gift donation in the amount of $60,000 to benefit our students and educational programs in accordance with all Board policies in the areas of gifts and private/public partnership. Let it further be resolved that the Superintendent will make recommendations to the donor in accordance with Board policy for utilization of this latest gift. 2. It is recommended that the Board of School Directors approve the proposed School Board Meeting Schedule for 2015. * 3. It is recommended that the Board of School Directors approve the following two curricular expenditures (2014-2015): * Elementary Science Resources-National Geographic (Cengage Learning) at a cost not to exceed $23,500.
