Moundsville West Virginia The Marshall County Board of Education met in regular session Tuesday,, 7:30 p.m., at the Offices of the Board of Education, all members having been notified of business to be considered. Present were: President Roger A. Lewicki; Vice President David L. Hall; Members Thomas E. Gilbert, Jr., Lori E. Kestner, and Beth A. Phillips; Secretary Alfred N. Renzella; Members of the County Administrative Staff. Minutes of the Regular Session, September 28, 2010, and Special Session, October 6, 2010, were approved on motion by Vice President Hall and seconded by Mr. Gilbert. Motion carried. Motion by Vice President Hall and seconded by Mrs. Phillips that the Board approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Marshall County Board of Education and Northern Panhandle Head Start, Inc. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Gilbert and seconded by Mrs. Kestner that the Board approve the Resolution to Participate in Appeal of OPEB Law Suit. Motion carried. Motion by Vice President Hall and seconded by Mrs. Kestner that the Board approve the Financial Statement for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2010. Motion carried. Motion carried. Superintendent s Reports: 1. There will be a board workshop on October 14 th to review personnel and finance. 2. A meeting was held with principals today to review the standards based report card. 3. The MAP assessment is ongoing. 4. The Health Fair was held at Cameron High School today. Mrs. Kestner commented on the educational and informative programs presented. 5. The CHS FFA Chicken Roast will be held October 16 th. Motion by Mrs. Kestner and seconded by Mr. Gilbert that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried. President Lewicki adjourned the meeting at 7:55 p.m. President ANR/tw Secretary
